HW7. I am probably wrong but I only got 6 letters from the 7 step sequence. One letter is involved twice. I am left therefore with the final letter of the answer to the question to go into the barred cell, not the possessive s.

I want to make it plain that MALONE IS NOT A AUTHORISED SPOKESMAN FOR NORAH, I don't need a spokesman, I am quite capable of speaking for myself.

Malone posts the Listener threads because she has always done so. I do the Admin for the site, I am not the slightest bit interested in posting crossword threads nor taking part in crosswords themselves, I can't even do the simple Daily Mail Crossword.

I do, however, post the Listener threads when they take a different direction, as happened recently with inclusion of the Answers thread.

Malone and other Forum Users sometimes post timely reminders of the rules which were set up by myself and Ash. This is quite acceptable as far as I am concerned because she is only reiterating what Admin decided.

As for 'heeding your many posts', it does no harm for either yourself or others to read these posts to remind yourselves what you should or should not be be doing.

Norah, thanks for that - I am perfectly happy to be unemployed (unemployable?) where the role of 'authorised spokesman' is concerned!

My real disappointment is that we - Forum members - haven't piqued your interest enough for you to start tackling crosswords.

When do you think I'd find time to do actual crosswords, I'm too busy dealing with in-fighting on the Listener.

I'll stick to my knitting and crochet, thank you.

PS Go to the Job Centre and claim benefits for being unemployed as official spokesman, ha, ha.

Norah, thanks for the clarification. So Malone's post #8 was exceeding his authority as an ordinary user. I thought so.

Ploughty, did you read ALL of my thread or just skimmed through it.

Please read the last two paras properly where I said I was happy for Malone and others to give timely reminders of the rules, this is by no means exceeding HER authority in any way.

This is a friendly Forum so please stop trying to pick unnecessary arguments with other users.

HW7 is correct about the 7 journeys. The key phrase is the first part of the instruction. That should clear up the issue of the possessive.

Norah, I did read your post. Malone had been bullying me on typing full clues. That is accessibility issue for me. But it's a relief that I can ignore her now.
