Could someone please help me understand the wordplay of 32? Have the answer, just can’t work out how it’s clued

Third word of clue is basis of wordplay and then change a letter in a word for that from one letter for a thousand to another.

In return, I have one unparsed - the ring clue at 20

7 letter word for "on" in the sense of in operation, with the central K (1000) changed to the Roman numeral for 1000. I think that's it, anyway.

Too slow again! 20: "pop" means pawn so word for pawnbrokers minus L.

Can Radial 21 also be an Italian city or a fruit cake and, if so, how is it parsed?

Rob. It's a 3 letter word for information + o for on and a.

RobP. Yes. That’s right. “On” in the clue gives you the o. The first three letters means information, as does dope.
