I wasn’t too worried about which version it is. When I sing it (or sing anything, for that matter) the written notes are merely academic 😀

As so often, I'm a bit behind the others on here. Gradually filling the grid, but plenty of spaces still left.

For Radial 3, I have an answer, but I can't parse it- specifically, I can't see how it involves "eight". Thoughts, please?

1 Mb is technically 8 million bits (apparently)

I'm used to needing scissors, crayons and highlighters to complete the Listener. Never before have I found the need for a piano!

Does anyone know of a web facility that allows you to play back a sequence of notes? I've looked but can't find one ...

Loge,
Does that mean you highlighted all 30 occurrences of 4 letters that are notes and ignored other letters that sometimes represent notes (like A, B and F)

I’ve ground to a halt again. Hints for answers to Ring clues. 11, 28 and 30 would be much appreciated

Thanks

Hi Dylan,

11 - single letter for "cousin's first" + 2 letters for "dealing with" + 7 letters for "chemistry for example" - it's a common or well known word but I had no idea it means "my" Scottish - but it does!

28 - was my last one in - it's the name of a singer (who, needless to say, I'd never heard of) and is a sort of cryptically humorous phrase (5,2) that could mean " sartorial need for church choir?"

30 - single letter for "one" + 4 letter "border" minus last letter/"almost" all inside a 5 letter "moat" - definition is "preserve former life".

Enjoyed this one. Just one parsing query... why "the same in Exeter" in clue 9?
