No, missed that, Malone!
I have heard Johnny Cash and he was ordinary at it.
For me it's Boney M, then Bing!

I didn't see it either, Malone.
For me, Bing first every time! his solo version though ( not the one where he sings with David Bowie).
And if I must go with a second choice......maybe Joan Baez.

Hi rusty
Did you watch tonight's University Challenge? The music round would have been right up your street - identifying performers of "Little drummer boy"!

(P.S. Bing and Bowie didn't feature.)

Hi, Chris!
That's just what Malone has been talking about!
I wish I'd watched it, but I have been reading (Jeffrey Archer) and haven't had the television on all evening.

Btw, I have a recording of Bing singing it SOLO - no David Bowie in sight/ hearing!!

The first version sung on the programme tonight was by Andy Williams - the contestant buzzed in to say it was David Bowie. I know very little on the subject, but I would have said those two singers were light years apart!

Bing is not as good as Boney M, Elle!

Hi, Rusty!
Now that is sacrilege in my book!
I do like Boney M very much , but in this instance, my preference is for a single voice singing "The Little Drummer Boy" - and, for me, that voice has to be Bing's!

I bought a little elephant stuffed (squeaky) soft toy for the dog, at the pet shop this afternoon. She will love it!
The cat is having a present too - balls to play with; although he likes to take the baubles off the tree and bat those around!

Pa rum pum pum pum!

Thank you for that, Seamus.
It was very amusing!
Fortunately, our cat is not quite as bad as that (thank goodness!) Although we have had to nail the tree down onto a thick board to prevent its being pulled over!
