Re 22d. If you divide your answer 2,1,4 it relates to the wordplay.

I have 14 clashes now so a bit stuck.
I think the clash at 20 is the one not in the phrase/anagrams?

Lumen - the last 3 letters are the plural of an Afrikaans word for a man.

crosswizz - a clash occurs when a letter in a cell is different for the across and down clues. It's a common tool in Listener crosswords.
