Good morning, Rusty!
How are you feeling today? Did you manage a good night's sleep? You should stay indoors if possible and keep warm today.
Have hot drinks and hot food - yes, I do think it makes a difference to have something warm inside you!
No, "The Voice" is not just for pop singers - I wouldn't like it if it were - but it is only for singers though...no other acts as you will have guessed from the title of the show. But singers of any / every genre...... there have been pop singers yes, but also C & W, folk........ even Opera.
It is honed down to showing only the good acts though, so I don't think you will like it as, going by your reaction to BGT, you are amused by the "rubbish" acts at the beginning! Now these I definitely don't have the patience to watch! I prefer BGT once it has reached the stage of there only being viable contestants left!
The Australian Open Final? I have set the recorder.... we shall be over at our daughter's whilst it is showing. Mind you, according to my TV guide, there are only Highlights. A poor do!

I got that surprisingly quickly, Malone.
Once I thought of "heist", I was away!

Hello, Elle!
I had a great sleep, though still full of whateveritis!
However, Elle, I shall take your advice and not budge today.
Now, "The Voice"?
Are there judges?
I am not fond of Cheryl Whatsit, who appears on many panels.
The tennis is live now on Eurosport. I think you will like it!!!!
I have half an eye on womens slalom.
Not my favourite event. Wendy Holdener is leading just now.
That will change though.
I was slightly miffed (strange word) yesterday with my local paper describing Andy Murray as Scotland's greatest ever sportsman.
Surely, for events won etc, it has to be Chris Hoy?
Five Olympic gold medals, a silver, and World Champion many a time.
Sir Chris for me!

Sad news Terry Wogan has died aged 77 - he had a short battle with cancer. I for one will miss him

I was very sad to hear of Terry's death - he was a great favourite of mine - I loved his early morning radio programme! He made my day!

Hi, Rusty!
I am still puzzling over Malone's clue...................even your mention of 'heist' hasn't helped me - sounds like 'iced' maybe without the 'h'?
I shall have to give it further thought......
Yes, there are four judges in "The Voice"- I told you that one of the attractions for me was the great rapport between the judges!
These have varied a little since the start of the show, but Will.i.am (founder of the Black Eyed Peas) has been one of the judges since the beginning.
The other three current judges are Paloma Faith ( I had never heard of her) Ricky Wilson (lead singer of the Kaiser Chiefs) and Boy George.
I wonder if your local paper is going with Andy as Scotland's lead sportsman because of his Wimbledon reputation?
I agree with you tho' that Chris Hoy deserves that accolade.
PLEASE don't tell me who wins the tennis! I won't be able to watch the match until this evening! (I'm gunning for Novak though!)

Hello, Malone!
I am (hopefully only temporarily) stumped over your crossword clue!

I used to like Terry's "misnames". We still refer to the "Thelwell Fire Duck" - the M6 crossing of the Manchester Ship Canal and the River Mersey.
