Jazzgirl,I don't think your ink is at fault - I think you have a superpower, a cloak of invisibility, that only certain posters can penetrate. Thanks again for the Raith Rovers mention.

Hello, Elle!
No, that is normal today for the puzzle pages.
They might do something extra on Christmas Eve, though.
The only bit in that section that I have a look at, is Books.
I give that section to my neighbour. She is a nurse and she takes it to work for her ward. Patients and staff!
I used to do the sudoku, and the cryptic Jumbo on a Sunday, but gradually lost the habit.
Your jigsaw sounds fine.
I see Malone's clue.
At first glance I thought it was Threave Rovers, but surely they would never have that in! Just a bit too unknown!
Mr Rogan's jacket will be on a shoogly peg, as we say up here, if he can't tell a Swift from a Defoe!

Jazzgirl, I will in a minute - I just felt so sorry that you'd been overlooked twice in one day, on the same thread!

Was it Daid Coleman who said (after a Raith Rovers victory) " The fans will be dancing in the streets of Raith tonight"

No actually it was Scotsman Sam Leitch

Ive actually been through Kirkaldy (once) on the way to St Andrews and Falkland ( a lovely foray into the Kingdom)

I seem to have started chattering

Best wishes Thea(o)

Oh well... tomorrow you can just put your solver's hat on and throw that cloak (of invisibility) in the bin!

It is not normally in my nature to be rude - I have looked back and I apologise, Jazzgirl.
Your clue NOT Malone's!
and I wish you and everyone else a Very Happy Christmas!

Hi, Rusty!
Well, someone had to bite the bullet and be the 5000th person to post!
I was waiting for Norah......
Is this neighbour, the nurse, the one who has to build the Wendy House?
What is a shoogly peg, Rusty? and the significance of Mr R's jacket being on it?
Another of these strange Scottish expressions!
I could never understand my cousin's accent ( except my name - I recognised that, especially as it is Scottish!) and the words and expressions he used further confused me!
You would think I would be accustomed to it by now!
Tomorrow is going to be a 'jobbing' day for me! I have loads of things to do!
Do you have any plans for the day?
