Good afternoon, Rusty!
I am home again!
I just missed being caught in a heavy downpour.....
The cat seems very pleased to see me..... even if I do stuff horrible medicines into his mouth!
This traumatic event has to take place every twelve hours.......so another session is due about 8 pm this evening!
I may wear chain mail.......
Nothing seems to be happening in the osprey nest...apart from young Erchie's visit this morning!
I have never seen a red squirrel "in the flesh".
Any word from your son?
What time should they arrive in Orlando?

We saw lots of red squirrels on Arran, but we were surprised to discover, on our tour of Brodick Castle (fantastic rhododendron and fern gardens), that they aren't native - they were introduced to the island by the Duchess (?) in the 1950s. There are no greys, though....

Good afternoon, Elle!
Been a great day here, but on the cool side.
The cat taking an interest in his tormentor is a good sign!
There's quite a few reds around here.
I like them!
Had texts from my son and daughter-in-law just before their aeroplane took off.
They are due in to Sanford Airport at 19.37 according to FlightAware.
That's about 40 minutes early.
They are staying in Orlando tonight, then on to Anna Maria Island tomorrow.

Hi, Rusty!
My cat loves me to bits! He is lying curled up with me on the sofa....
An hour and twenty minutes to go ( for the second "dose" ) before he hates me again!
Not long to go now before your son and daughter-in-law arrive at Sanford airport....
Are you following the flight?

Oops, Rusty!
We crossed!

That was very funny to see..... a very curious and brave little squirrel....
Well done, Erchie!

And well defended, Lassie!

Hello, Elle!
I am sure your cat loves you, really!
Not long until they land.
The aeroplane is over the Carolinas now.
Yes, I am tracking the flight.
And the girls are doing fine.
They went to Gran's for tea!

Hi, Rusty!
Any new from the travellers?
They should be there by now?
Dose duly administered to cat....still a slight splattering.....
Hopefully this is expected and covered by the dosage?!
That is a timely naming of the new streets near you!
What a coincidence to come across that just as we were discussing red squirrels.
Would you believe it is still raining?
Warmer though.....

Hello, Elle!
Yes, they have landed.
The plane was about 30 minutes early getting there.
Got a text message from my son.
May hear from them later when they reach their hotel.
I am sure you are not the only one with a reluctant cat taking medicine.
Do your best and all will be well.
Red Squirrel Way is out in the country where a hospital was, so there will be a few reds there.
Not far from me at all.
You have rain?
It has been a fine day here.
