Hello Elle, Rusty and everyone!

I laughed too Chris! I have two cats and must give free rein to my
imagination in order to trick them into taking medication!

Glad Puss is better Elle - it is just as well to have it at home where it
feels more confortable and less worried;

So far we have had sun, rain, wind, hail and thunder..........
It is VE Day celebrations today and a holiday here with lots of people
taking part in various anniversary parades - I do feel sorry for them
and the on-lookers!

Out of the 11 eggs produced by the little blue tit in nest box,
8 have hatched and parents very busy feeding all these opened
beaks!

I am also keeping an eye on the Lock, as well as on the Dorset
Barn Owl site - The owlets are so very fluffy and white!

How are you ?

Glad ypu enjoyed it, pigale. I first printed it off years ago, so I was pleased to be able to still find it online.

How is your recovery progressing?

Hi, Rusty!
My cat came home with a (sticky) pressure bandage on his leg, where the drip had been.
I was told to take it off in a while.
No need for that, the cat solemnly unwrapped it all, layer by layer, five minutes after arriving home.
He was very pleased with himself!
I have not been able to do my crosswords today as I could not print them out.... very strange?
The printer is working, though, as I printed out the "instructions", sent by Chris, on how to administer a tablet to a cat!
Did you read that?
If you have ever had a cat , you will find it very funny!

Hello, Pigale!
Your post was not there when I started typing my message to Rusty.
Yes, the cat is better at home, provided we can cope with administering his meds!
It is still pouring down here, as it has been all the day.
I have been trying to catch up on sending some emails...but some will not go....
They end up in my Drafts box with a message in red, saying that I am not connected to the would -be recipients' Internet Providers.
I have no idea what they mean?
I am sure smoke signals were simpler...…!

I am doing fine Chris, thank you, that is so long as I don't overdo
it! Back pains at my (our?) age take long, very long, to heel - and I
was told by a 'kind' Radiologist that my back was 'a mess' that will never totally recover!

On the bright side, heart seems fine so that is good!

Trust you are okay yourself and family?

Hello, Elle!
Your cat seems to be well on the mend!
Do you normally print off incoming crossword puzzles?
I do not have a printer, Elle, so I have no suggestions for you.
It's a pity, for it is a good puzzle today.
Just wondering if my son will visit later.
He is going off on his annual holiday in the morning for two weeks.
La Bamba and my grandson are in charge of me while he is away!

Good evening, Rusty!
My friend sends me screen prints of the crosswords, and I have to print them out, or else I cannot do them.
I do not think in this instance that the fault is lying with the printer, because I have been printing out various other papers during the day.
Never mind, " tomorrow is another day".......all may be functioning well again by then!
I hadn't realised that your son's holiday in Orlando had come around so quickly!
Hopefully, you will see him before he leaves.
I hope they have a good time!
I am sure that Miss L-B and your grandson will take good care of you, and see that you don't get up to any mischief!

Good evening, Elle!
My son has just left.
Was grand seeing him.
Pity about your puzzles.
I do not print anything, so I have no idea what could be wrong.
I had an odd one earlier.
My "shortcut" for Twitter, in my bookmark bar, kept changing.
Sometimes to "eBay" and other shortcuts.
I went into settings and updated Twitter and it is fine now.
Maybe something simple, like that, is what is up with yours?
My son is staying in Orlando tomorrow night, then driving to Anna Maria Island, for a week.
Miss L-B and me get on great, so no problem there!
And my grandson will be around quite a bit, too.
I've promised to be on my bestest behaviour!

Hi, Rusty!
It is good that you and your son were able to have a chat, before he and your daughter-in-law go on holiday.
They have stayed on Anna Maria Island before, haven't they?
I hope the weather will be good for them.
It has - at last - stopped raining here.
Where is Miss O in these plans to "keep an eye on you"?
I have something niggling at the back of my mind that I was going to tell you......
But now I cannot remember what it was ...
I think something that I read?
Oh dear, this is so annoying!
What do you think of "Archie" for the new Royal baby?
