We are finally home again!
There was a wonderful turn out to support the Macmillan nurses cause.
And it was great to catch up personally with some friends whom we hadn't seen for a while.
(Plus the savoury offerings, and cakes and biscuits were delicious
All home made!)
I should think a goodly sum has been collected for the charity.
How was your outing to the Pine Cone this morning with your granddaughters?

The Macmillan nurses will be very pleased.
Just one granddaughter today, Miss ATW.
Pine Cone was packed.
We queued for five minutes for a table, nothing doing, so we left.
We came down to ASDA cafe and that was fine there.

I have just been talking to my cousin.
She had been out celebrating her son-in-law's birthday so that was nice.
Are you not able to reserve a table at the Pine Cone?
That would be a help, and solve the problem of waiting.
Anyway, it sounds as though Asda offered a viable alternative, and you both enjoyed yourselves!
Has Miss ATW done all the work needed on her flat, and got it to her liking now?
We haven't had dinner yet........too many savouries and cakes eaten earlier this afternoon!

I do not know if they do reservations at Pine Cone, but I doubt it.
It is a cafe, rather than a restaurant.
It is always busy, but on the run up to Christmas, it gets super busy.
But ASDA cafe was very good, though, so no complaints about our outing.
Yes, the flat is finished now.
It is cold here!

I did the Everyman crossword earlier, but haven't had the time to look at the ST Cryptic.
Maybe I can fit it in tomorrow.....I like the Sunday puzzle!
Although my first priority must be to go and buy some more Christmas cards.....and also the special family ones.
I may also try to get a few more of my Christmas presents.
Here's hoping for a fine day......I shall be more inspired than if it is raining!

My forecast for tomorrow is dry and cold, 4C maximum.
I have a couple of tasks to do but will see how the weather is.
