Hello, Elle!
When I was a boy we called tee shirts "sloppy joes".
But most folk think they are sweaters.
Wonder why "sloppy joes"?
Sounds American?
Hope your daughter is fine tomorrow.
Will she overhaul your computer, perhaps?
And you don't knit? Me, too!
I am sure you will think of something to do tomorrow!

Hello, Pigale!
I have drawer full of unworn socks that I could donate to the ospreys!
You seem to be very skilful with your knitting and clothesmaking.
I am impressed!
Any more "scandal at the loch" today, I wonder?
Lassie is not at home last time I looked in.

Hello Rusty!

Have just had a look and she is not there - yet she was on the
nest last night just before I switched off the computer.
Perhaps she feels more secure if no upset happened today?
I was out for a while, and all was quiet whenever I looked in.

But still no eggs though - all the upset of the last few days must
have delayed her laying the first egg!

Hello, Pigale!
I think she stayed on the nest all last night, but no sign of her tonight.
Things seemed to be back to normal today.
Yes, I wonder when the first egg will arrive!

Good morning, Rusty!
A very wet start to the day!
But it is supposed to stop raining soon.......
We are heading out very shortly.......no fixed destination at the moment (still under discussion).......other than lunch at the Toby Carvery, by special request from the boys.
What has happened about your hoped for trip to see the floating crane?
Have you arranged anything ?
We should be back about teatime.....

Good morning, Elle!
It is a cold wind blowing here under a grey sky.
Miss O and me are heading into town tomorrow morn.
We do not know if the crane is still here, though.
Hope your day goes well!

Hi, Rusty!
We are home again!
We have had a lovely time.
First an outing to the park...... then lunch at the Toby Carvery.
I think a game is next on the agenda!
A trip up to town tomorrow with Miss O to see the crane sounds great.. I hope it will still be there!
I've not had time...so far...to do any crosswords!

Hello, Elle!
You are having a good day!
I am not sure if the crane has sailed or not, but we are heading into town anyway.
The port area is quite extensive so not sure how close we may get to see it.
My puzzle is complete.
No new words for me today, though I had only vaguely heard of 1d.
New blog up at the loch.

HI, Rusty!
Yes, we are having a fine time!
We have played "Sorry", "Snakes and Ladders", and two games of "Happy Families".
It is good fun!
It is interesting to meet the new team of Species Protection Officers........
Isn't it rather a crucial stage though to be introducing new team members ?
They will need to learn all about Lassie and Laddie's individualities rather late in the game.
My grey padded (dog-walking) coat is similar to that worn by the new Ranger!
I guess it's time I thought about tea.......the boys appear to be suffering hunger pangs again.......
(An impossibility I would have thought after all they ate for lunch!)
