Hi, Rusty!
So I would be a 9 barleycorn size, taking a size 3 shoe?
Fascinating!
I thought the different sizes for different places somewhat complicated?
Right, I have had my hot drink.......and am away to my bed.
Talk tomorrow....
G'night!

Good morning, Elle,
Wild weather here.
Freezing wind and sleet coming sideways!
How is the weather in Bromley?
I was out earlier for my paper, but home for the day now.
I have Milan-San Remo to watch later.
First of the major bike races of the year.
It's a great course and I am looking forward to it!

Good morning, Rusty!
Snow here and very cold!
Yes, that was our initial complaint on our walk........the (fairly heavy) snow was driving in on us, sideways, being propelled by the wind!
Luckily, the wind then dropped, but the snow ( lighter now) is still falling steadily.
It is sticking on the grass and rooftops, but not on the pavements
I have finished the 15 x15.......easier as usual on a Saturday!
There are still a few to parse properly though, so something to "chew on"!
I hope you enjoy your racing!
What time does it start?

Hello, Elle!
I see wee bits of blue sky now!
I think the cycling is on after one.
I have almost finished puzzle.
Not quite making sense of 21d yet, but I'll get there!

Hello, Elle!
Yep, that's the puzzle finished!
Was ages getting the parse to 26a.
And I "think" it is to do with Miss Muffet?
That came into my head after about thirty minutes pondering?
Do folk still eat whey, whatever it is?

Hi, Rusty!
Regarding 26a.....
Yes, "Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffet , eating her curds and whey.....".
She was afraid of spiders!
Whey is the watery part or milk that remains after curds have formed.
I cannot help with 21d, as although I have an answer , I cannot explain it!
I still have five to parse!
No blue sky here...and still snowing......it is getting very much colder than earlier.
I am going to make a cuppa soup, then take a look at the at the Jumbo GK.

Hello, Elle, and fellow osprey watchers!
The rangers have Tweeted earlier that there is no sign of an osprey so far, this morning, but the nest has a covering of snow.
And a good pic of the nest!
So....someone has a working camera!

Hi, Rusty!
We crossed posts yet again......see my other post below.......including a typo!
It should read "watery part OF milk"!
I looked on the osprey site, but all I got was the b &w picture that has been there off and off all the time?

Hello, Elle!
I am astonished that young Miss Muffet came into my head at all!
21, I have worked it out.
Creeps. "Touching" is "re", and "ceps" are mushrooms or a fungus anyway. Creeps=edges.
It is very cold here, too.
Wind has not let up for days!
