Thanks candledave, now for the grid change. Nothing has dropped but several have completed the second grid before the first - I'm in awe.

Finally completed this puzzle, not without a struggle (17 took an especially long time) and am completely bowled over by its brilliance. Whoever Twin is, he - or she - must have a brain the size of a planet. What a superb way to entertain us and exercise our minds.

Very much enjoying this challenge by Twin! I have answers to 6 across and 30 down but can't parse either.. any nudge would be gratefully received.

6a - wordplay is 2+3 all backwards; +2. Teamster's heart gives 2 letters, 3-letter word for 'eye' and usual 'when; at the end.
30d - the long word is superfluous. Wordplay is 4 letter 'transfer' with a 2 letter 'tree' inside.

For 6 I thought two word definition, anagrind, anagram fodder plus two letter “when”. For 30 a four letter ”transfer” enclosing a two letter tree.

Simultaneous posts! But we seem to be on the same wavelength at least.

6A - middle letters of teamster + synonym for eye (in shooting) reversed + synonym for when

30D - 4th and 5th letters are a tree inside transfer
