I don't actually need to know the correction to the misprint in 29a, but could someone please give me a steer? It presumably affects the fourth word of the clue.

Yes, 4th word but it changes to a Scots dialect word for garments - sounds like 'sigh'.

Strangely enough, in addition to the explanation for 22a already given (notice (4) with chute (3) replacing 1st letter), the wordplay can be simply: chute(3) + notice(3)! Chambers Thesaurus gives the last 3 letters by themselves as a synonym for notice, unless the CD-ROM has an error.

Tricky one this week. Struggled for awhile on a couple clues. But I'm finally ready to put this one to bed. Thanks for the fun Brock!

I have 1ac, and the 3x3 square, but the corrections entering the square make no sense (when read in normal clue order). Am I missing soenthing?

Also, I have 31ac but can't see what the misprint is - there seems a much more appropriate word to use, with some easy misprints

I'm pretty sure I've got this - the 19 misprints and the 15 corrections all make sense. But... There are 37 clues. What happened to the other three? There seems to me to be 18, not 15, clues whose answers don't enter the thematic words.

Finished at last! Catteg01 - that confused me for a while, but 3 of the 18 that you have left do enter something else.

31a misprint is in the third word from the end (& peas too, I'd think).
It's not a straight read - you've to interpret the letters you're seeing.
