This is brutal. I'll be interested to find how many correct solutions are submitted - I certainly shan't be troubling the scorers!

Also blue, as in colour, or sad, or rude…? Finding the tips rather obtuse, for the Answers thread!

I agree with you about hints.
Hint from drxx at #6 is a perfect way to give hints on this thread,

I hope hints would include def for some clues.

Is ahead of time the def in Squall clue? Where is the prison slang coming from in the word play?

sunray...the clue is &lit so def is the entirety

Anyone else think that Beduin should have had its other spelling for the clue to work?

How big is the rectangular zone? Presumably it covers an area more than 42 cells.
