I’ve really struggled with this. I have 2 clues left which I need help with parsing - 21 and 30. Then on to the end game which sounds confusing! Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Diver,

21 - the first 2 letters are a "primitive group" (it's in Chambers but with a hyphen after it) then 3 letter "denounce" to give an "ex pope".

30 - Is a 7 letter "composer" minus "in" and I(taly) to give a famous singer, first name Diana.

The second group is a single cell/letter. Think NATO alphabet.

The third group, as specified in the hidden instructions, is the same shape (but not size or orientation) as the other two.

Admin, please delete if too much given. We’ve been looking at an appropriate shape, unsuccessfully, since yesterday. This shape can be partitioned into n identical smaller shapes in a multitude of ways. Question - does each smaller shape contain an empty cell? If so, that would narrow the possibilities. We just can’t get the recycling symbol out of our heads! Nudge gratefully accepted. Please also advise if famous snooker players are a red herring. Thank you.
