Now I had to search a list of Eurovision winners. There’s no dance called sarabba, and that was the only Eurovision winner I knew. (Though I did see a few familiar names - I thought Celine Dion was Canadian.)
Lots done, but some blind alleys, I think.
Are 6 and 22 the reverse of each other? I can’t see anywhere else they can go.
Also, 17 still puzzles me, and 10.
Any help appreciated, thanks
6 goes normally left to right, 22 is orientated NW. 17: Paddington refers to a character from Peru and think of the headline if he were to snuff it. 10 has extra words. It's the winner of the Eurovision from 1970 after a Scottish word for savour.
Pretty sure I've got the initial grid fill right, plus the erasure instructions and definitions. Also some idea of shapes, but no idea what to do! 3 like plane figures; does that mean flat? Can see areas with plenty of the letters of that word, but no pattern. Group of two little points, is that colon? Again can see areas rich in those letters. Tango in corner; is that simply the letter at 31? Group of 16 in centre, presumably a triangle which might be clearer after the first removals! Heavy hints please!
Think shapes rather than letters, Greengage, As for the two little points, the second part of the first sentence of the preamble should help you there.
