Glad to be here on the forum. I've been lurking for a while but now I'm able to do 75% ish of the Everyman in one sitting, thought I'd start asking for help to finish!

Thanks especially for the pointers on 22. I couldn't see beyond lies, somehow convincing myself that 'from France' could be an instruction to remove the 'f' from an irritating affliction (more so in Oz).

The same word for the answer to 22d was used in the prize crossword 2d clue.

Pardon me for being late to the party. My first go at Everyman for that matter. I, like many, was stumped on 13d, so I appreciate the hints. Just now figured out 8d. I gather LOI here means last one in, so that would be mine. What about COD though?

Had to cheat after reading the forum to get 18D, I had 17A ending with -RES which confused me.

Had to get help from here for 13D, 11D, 24A - thanks. I also has 22D down wrong.

I got the rest I was missing after filling in 11D.

Harder than usual I thought, and some of the clues were a bit duff yes.

I'm also not sure of my answer to 4D can't parse it (might be wrong as well).
