Looks like everyone (aside from Everyman, ironically) is on the same page regarding 13D and, increasingly, 22D. I went wrong with the latter too and am deeply impressed that Jono was determined to look for something else after the obvious answer could not be parsed (believe me, I tried!). As for 13D, I'm inclined simply to write it off as a terrible clue. Even more annoying because I was on the way to a top-left to bottom-right write-in up to to that point!

Thanks Phil, I even considered an ‘affliction’ sufferered by golfers for 22d which also fits!

Hi Phil,

13d - I'm not sure if this will help or just confuse the issue, but try replacing "cuisine" with "care" and see if that leads to a PDM

.... unless you've already solved it and are just giving your thoughts on it, in which case please ignore my last post.

My favourite today was 24a.
LOI will be 1d, as for johnson. Noone else seems bothered by it.
O-L- , I can't fit anything in.

It's alternate letters of a word around the setter - definition "glib".

Morning all. Hard work for me and I still can’t get 24a. Pretty sure I have all the down letters but thoroughly confused. Any help greatly appreciated

Hi mob
Definition is "nowadays"; it's built up sequentially 1,1,2,2,4

Thanks, Brendan. Yes, already got it, thanks to Chrise (I think) earlier in the forum. I still think it's a deeply flawed clue -- *throughout* seems to have no relevance to the answer and, as others have pointed out, *cuisine* is quite a stretch (well, it has been whenever I've done that job for neighbours, anyway!).
