In view of the animosity shown on here,I have decided not to send in my entry form for this quiz.

You've done the quiz but aren't going to donate.
Why should the charity suffer because you've taken the huff?

What animosity, palman ? As far as I can see, most of the people on here have been friendly, helping one another and showing empathy for fellow sufferers of illnesses. Sad that you feel you cannot contribute to the charity's funds

Could anyone give a hint for clues:
4. Clean the empty space (6), and 86. They cut off ships (8)?
These are my last 2, and as far as I can see, no-one else has asked for a hint, so they must be so obvious!

My ancient brain is finding this quiz much more difficult than the many earlier Mizen quizzes that I have attempted. I am now down to my last 6
answers and would very much appreciate help to find the answers to Nos 5, 40, 57, 66, 78 and 85. Thank you in advance.

All your numbers have had previous requests for assistance - if you zip through this thread, you might find hints (big and small).
Also, some of the helpful people on this site won't have a copy of the puzzle - without the questions they won't be able to help.

I too have struggled with no86 they cut off ships. I have an answer starting with f and ending with a but don't think it has a double definition, so am stuck

bluetit2. The answer you have for q. 86 is wrong.Think of all the different types of ships that there are and are also an item that you could cut with. Try starting with C. There too much info !! Good Luck

Hi Winnie thank you for that got it now must get the quiz filled in and sent off. The charity chosen is a bit close to home.
