Winnie, the first word definitely ends in 'e'

Hi Winnie. Glad to hear you are ok (hopefully!). It is almost 9 weeks since my accident and i am much better now altho still get a lot of pain in my ribs but told that is inflamed nerves. Have had so many tests, scans etc which have taken so long!! Like you 'no news is good news'! Re no.44 my husband & i (sound like the Queen!) have come up with an answer - first word begins with B & ends in E & second word starts with B & ends in N. Think zeppelins! X

Looks like my friend is right and I am wrong ! I do think it is misleading though because 'beside' in middle of the clue does not give any indication as to which word comes first.

You are welcome Winnie. Nice to be able to help others when its usually me asking for help. We only have 6 to solve which i will list another time to see if anyone can help. Want to get it finished (not that i have to finish it to send in!!!) to send in my donation to a very worthy charity. My husband has this but has been very lucky & after horrible treatment & 3 monthly injections, is doing well.
