Hello, Elle!
Yes, good AND bad weather South of the border!
Dame Sarah has a heap of medals.
She is a very nice lady.
Laura Muir has just tweeted to say she has had a visit from the dope test folk this evening.
She is a bit bemused because she is staying in a B&B in Dalton-on-Tees and wonders how they knew! She says she is on a "placement".
She is studying to be a vet, so may be to do with that?
I still feel it chilly.
Think the pullover will be on tomorrow!

...it was more of a compliment than a tease! Later on I will try harder, if brain doesn't go to sleep (again)

Good morning, Rusty!
I seem to be working at a very slow pace this morning.......it is unbearably hot!
We have no sign of a temperature decrease nor any rain - or thunderstorms!
I took the dog out really early but couldn't beat the heat!
How is it in your neck of the woods?
Has it remained chilly?
Did you need your pullover this morning?
I am going out for lunch - yet again!
We are going to the Toby Carvery with some friends.
It is all happening at once!
A busy week (of eating!)

Hello, Ros!
Yes, I managed to get that!
I am useless at writing cryptic clues!

Ros, it was a nice one - both as a compliment and as a tease!

I did have in mind using "stripping" but decided not to! I also think there must be a good clue along the lines of "excellence of her heart", pigale??

Probably, though can't quite think straight away.

According to Wiki, the Lady's name is also an abbreviation of Eleanor or ellen, and can mean a 'beautiful fairy'!
so, how about

'Beautiful fairy through excellence of her heart' ???

yes but the core of the clue remains your 'excellence of her heart' !

Good fun anyhow.
