Hi, Rusty!
I understand your philosophy of life!
Nice and simple - with no complications!
That's fine!
One thing puzzles me though.......how do you toast your bread?
You say you do not use your cooker, which presumably has a grill?
I cannot resist one last try........
A toaster would be a good "simple" ( inexpensive) buy!
Consult the girls?
What of Eilidh Doyle? How did she do in the Diamond League stakes - or is that not decided yet?
I have yet to watch the Zurich DL (which is the one you have already seen/ read about)
Highlights of this are not being shown on the BBC till tomorrow.
Very dull and dark out now - looks like rain!

Hello, Elle!
I do not eat bread, toasted or otherwise, though I am partial to a pan cake.
Yes, I'll see what the young ones have to say about toasting machines.
I did not see Eilidh last night (well today). Or Miss Sharp, thankfully.
My TV goes off if anyone calls.
Last night was Zurich and there was not an empty seat in the stadium.
Unlike the Rio Games!
Tonight should just be the tennis, I think.
Dani King has asked Trotty to be her bridesmaid!
Trotty is ecstatic!

Hi, Rusty!
I have just been watching the "Make Me an Egghead" spin off!
Yesterday, the two names at the top of the Leader board had scored 28 and 27 points.
Today, the highest score up there before the start of the programme was only 20!
And no one seems to notice these daily discrepancies !!!
So weird!
I wonder if the mystery will ever be unravelled......
BB has now finished his stint at nursery!
He took cakes in for a farewell party - and gave a little present to his key workers.
He attends his new school next Thursday to meet his teacher and new classmates, and then starts Primary School "proper" on Monday the 12th.
Where do the years go?!

Good evening, Elle!
The weekend again!
The Glasgow^Orlando flight today, ran to schedule, although there are delays with many flights.
I followed it on FlightRadar.
Thousands without power in Florida, though.
And I did not think much of Florida crosswords!
The Egghead shows are perhaps out of sequence?
I am sure the nursery will have given BB a good grounding for school.

Hey, Rusty!
It has been a funny week with last Monday being a Bank Holiday - the days all seem out of sequence!
Have you spoken to your son about his proposed trip to Orlando on Sunday?
Are he and his wife still planning to go out there?
I did wonder whether the Egghead shows might be out of sequence, but that doesn't fit the bill.
For starters, they are not 'repeats', but a new programme, and the names on the Leader board come and go without logic.
There should by now by ten names but these fluctuate within four or five.
No sense to be made of it at all!
I shall be glad when there is a return to the 'normal' Eggheads!
BB is excited by the prospect of school!
And come the end of November, when our daughter goes back to work, Baby will start at nursery.
He is almost crawling now!
Once he realises that he has to move his arms forward (!) - he can manage his rear quarters! - he will make progress!

Fine day here.
Yes, Florida is still on the agenda.
They are looking forward to it.
I am just off to get my paper etc.

Good morning, Rusty!
We are just back from our walk!
It is a lovely fresh morning........we even sat for a while and watched the local (Saturday) Running Club on their designated circle of the park.
Interesting , their run of 3 miles is not quite as far as our morning walk!
Does this make me feel fit....or tired at the thought?!
I am glad that your son's plans for Orland are able to go ahead.
I am planning to watch the Zurich DL later if all goes to plan.......

Good afternoon - or is it now evening - Rusty!
How ironic that the long-awaited (and incidentally, very heavy!) rain should come whilst we are out and not able to rescue the washing from the hoist!
Sod's Law!
Still, we have had a nice day 's outing! If a trifle poggy at times!
My plans didn't quite work out after all......so I shall belatedly now watch the Zurich Diamond League.
I look forward to seeing Laura M in action!
I wonder how Laura W does?
So what have you been up to today?

Good evening, Elle!
No rain here, so far!
Quiet day for me.
My son was here after tea time.
He goes to America in the morning.
The women's 200 metres was a good race, too!
There is a documentary about the Eagles on later, and I shall record it.
Also one on Tom Petty.
All my books have arrived, including one from Staffordshire Library, Prison Pool Stock, is stamped on it!!

Hi, Rusty!
It is still raining here! albeit less heavily now.
At least we shan't have to water the garden tonight.
Yes, the 200m was good.
Although Elaine Thompson won it, Dafne Schippers was still the Diamond League winner.
Allyson Felix must feel a bit eclipsed!
And Dina Asher-Smith came fourth! She did well in such illustrious company.
Talking about the Eagles.....funnily enough, there was recently a quiz question about "Hotel California.
I don't know Tom Petty?
Staffordshire Prison must provide worthy reading for its inmates!
What books did you get from Amazon?
