The deckie took two and a half hours to strip the room, Which was way quicker than I expected.
I thought a full day, anyway. Walls are pretty good.

I've just been speaking to younger daughter on the phone - she rings on her way home from work.
She has only about four more weeks to go before starting her Maternity leave. Hasn't it all come around quickly? - the baby is due mid- March!

I have been reading further about the new plans for TFL's Overground to take control of London's entire rail network of suburban trains.
The TFl at present runs the Tube and the Overground.
Should all go ahead - and it looks set to do so - we should benefit locally .
Services will potentially be increased , fares be more moderate, and more links between tubes, Overground, and main line trains are promised.
It is also said that the Tube map will be redesigned to accommodate the lines.
More scope for Mr RR in his crosswords?

The takeover of the London suburban railways will only happen gradually as their current franchises expire. I think it is expected to range over the next few years until 2021.
I'm not convinced that fares may be cheaper, but there hopefully should be a better service and improved train links. It sounds good in theory!
Are you and Miss L-B going to the Pine Cone? or will you both say at home to minister to the painter's coffee needs?

How are you both ? We are supposed to have a sunny day but it is rather grey at present; incredibly mild though, I was too hot in the night despite window and shutter partly opened !
