PS - I did not realise that Georges Coulonges was such a prolific song writer; apparently that is how he started writing. I have read several of his books, a lot based in rural France, and I like him very much.

Pigale I had to have a very strong coffee when I read you were not keen on Bing. I am no fan of crooners either, excepting Bing and Dean Martin.
Now, I have tried a lot of versions and on this occasion Boney M and that fine young laddie, for me, are the best.
Elle, the video link worked on loptap but not on Hudl, too.
Must be Hudl settings?

My only plan for today was shopping at Super U with a friend, but when I went into the garage a while ago, I discovered water everywhere ; the hot water heater appears to be leaking so I immediately contacted my plumber who cannot come till 4.30 ish. ~Thus shopping first then plumber and I hope he can fix things !

Goodness where has the time gone?!
I decided to get stuck into decorating the Christmas tree - we had some problems with the lights and I had to stop doing this previously, whilst my husband worked his magic.... all functioning now, and I have just finished putting on the coloured baubles.
It does look beautiful all lit up! Very Christmassy!
It' s already going dark here - very early today - I think a game of ball in the (muddy) garden with the dog is the next thing on the agenda....no time to fit in a walk now, it will far be too dark by the time I return.
