"To serve them all my days" was apparently based on West Buckland School, North Devon. We used to play them at rugby and cricket when I was at school in Barnstaple. (Whisper it: I took my only ever hat-trick there!)

Thank's for this - I have ordered it now;

Yes ChrisE, I saw there is a DVD of 'To Serve Them All My Days' but will buy it later - It is quite expensive new, (Pound to Euro rate is not so good for buying British at present) - so I will see if there are any interesting second hands from trustworthy vendors.

Hello Ros,

Have you tried switch off and back on ?

When it does happen to me, and if switch off and back on can't work then I unplug and replug - I know computers don't like that, but sometimes it is the only way !

Well Doglet, what a lucky girl you are ! A rather nice addition to your bibliotheque and one that I would not mind myself !

Here, a bit more grey than yesterday and cooler - from tomorrow, due to get better.

Enjoy your week-end too

Morning Elle,

I see you are back on the Forum - How did the Vet's visit go?

She is still there, Pigale. I don't know at what specific time she will have her teeth done. I have to phone at 2 o'clock to see how she is. What time she can come home will depend on how well and how quickly she recovers from the anaesthetic.
Thank you for asking!

Dear, Elle, I didn't realoze it was that involved - must have missed the post where you explained what your dog (can't remember name) was having done ; just assumed it was for quick cleaning of teeth.
