Hello, Elle!
That's splendid!
The only one I have read is No 3, about a million years ago!
I have only vaguely heard of No 1.
No idea what it is about.
But that's no help to you!

A Very Good morning to you, Rusty!
It is a fine, but cold, one here.
Great walking weather.
Yes, our posts crossed!
I am pleased that I got all the answers before going to bed!
As I said, I cheated with the last one, though, by looking up books written by Mark Twain.
No specific plans for today...we shall take it as it comes...
How about you?
Are you heading for the Pine Cone?

Good day, Elle!
It is quite cold here, too.
Having a quiet day.
Watched BGT earlier.
I am watching the cycling just now, but it's a long way to go, yet.
In the evening I'll watch the golf.
Wonder who will take the jump into Poppie's Pond!
No Pine Cone until Wednesday, I think.
Miss O is/was in Berlin.

Hi, Rusty!
We have had some rain......
Planning another walk later on, mid -afternoon, but hopefully not in the wet!
You have a busy day organised....with BGT, cycling and then golf!
How was BGT?
Any one worth a mention?
I did record it...but have not watched it yet...I do not feel in the mood.....
I have been having a leisurely morning, reading and doing crosswords.
The Everyman was reasonable...it seems to be settling down somewhat now.
Maybe the powers- that-be have finally decided on a new setter?
I think I need a coffee......

Hello, Elle!
Well, I enjoyed most of BGT.
There were two brothers who did a very scary gymnastic/balancing act.
A very enjoyable young school choir with a brilliant teacher.
A great illusionist, quite scary!
My favourite though, was a schoolgirl singer.
I don't usually go for singers, but this one was exceptional.
Her name is Faith Tucker.
Here is a short clip.

Good news about your Everyman!
The Observer must have paid heed to the complaints!

Hi, Rusty!
Ah, the two brothers were the act that I hinted at, when telling you that a trick had apparently gone seriously wrong.....
Did they get through, to perform again?
I shall "flick through " my recording later, and catch the ones that you thought were worth watching....
As you know, I am not very fond of BGT in its early stages!
Yes, the schoolgirl was quite a surprise!
I was not expecting that!
Speaking of singers, do you remember Ruti, the winner of last year's "The Voice"?
You liked her, when I sent you a clip?
She returned to the show yesterday to sing her latest single.
She is still good!
I think we are shortly going out...there are signs of activity......
Catch you later!

Hello, Elle!
I did not see anything in the brothers act going wrong?
They did have a second attempt at a part of the act, but I think that was part of their act, to make it look scary.
It worked!
Yes, they have progressed to next round.
For sheer enjoyment you should watch the children's choir and their teacher.
Great fun!
Not a hope of winning, but very enjoyable!
Elizabeth, the illusionist, is a good act.
I liked Faith Tucker a lot.
A super singer and no shouty bits!
I hope that's the standard of singing we can expect in the next shows!

Update, Elle!
I've just had a look at the betting to win BGT.
Paddy P has the children's choir favourite!
Elizabeth second favourite.
Faith Tucker third favourite.
Shows how good a judge I am!

Hi, Rusty!
We are just arrived home.
A mixed bag of weather whilst we were out......some sunshine and some showers.......par for the course for April, I suppose.
It was the brothers' act that I read about prior to the show....this is what was in the news article:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-6888669/BGT-judges-audience-left-screaming-TERROR-sword-act-goes-horribly-wrong.html
( Although I do not think that I originally read it in the Daily Mail)
Maybe if this was not portrayed on screen, the performance was edited?
Yes, I shall take look at the children's choir, and the others, later on.......
You and Paddy P make a good team in your judgements!
