Good morning, Rusty!
Dull here, but fine as yet.
Just home from my walk.
Yes, it is Molly for whom I should like to vote.
She has been persistently good throughout the programme.
She is only young - eighteen, I think?
Have you listed to her on YouTube?
The osprey webcam seems to be okay now....
Lassie is sitting on the egg with her back to the camera!
I haven't seen Laddie for a while?
Do you have any plans for today?

I hope you have an enjoyable day out, Ros!

Hello, Elle!
No, I have not seen Molly.
Just had a look at the betting on Paddy Power's site.
Yes, the webcam seems fine now.
I am home for the day, now.
It is wet here!
Finished my puzzle earlier.
5d, the clue does not seem right.
That is, if my answer is correct!

Hi, Rusty!
This is Molly singing in last week's Semi- Final
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WZ9S6pmsjE
I have only recently started the crossword, but for 5d I have:
"Motherwell" = a team of Scots (footballers) - def
mother well - make good parents
Is that what you have?
I was interrupted in typing this by elder daughter phoning to tell me that our eldest grandson got a distinction in his Grade One piano exam!
Well done , him!

Hello, Elle!
Excellent news about your grandson!
It's good to see the young ones getting on.
Molly's not too bad, I can see why she is favourite to win.
Yes, I have Motherwell, but can't see why the setter uses the plural "parents"?
It is probably perfectly fine and I am not quite seeing it.
It is a rainy day up here.
I am staying home!

Hi, Rusty!
I had been under the impression that Molly was "new" to the stage and "fame".......but seemingly she has been acting since the age of 5, has been on television in various minor parts, performs singing at functions such as weddings, and also competed in X factor in 2017.
Not that there is anything wrong with this......quite a number of "The Voice" contenders are already 'professional' singers.
For all I know, the other Finalists may also be experienced.
I like her anyway!
Still rather grim looking out.......

Hello, Elle!
I think an awful lot of the performers on the talent shows have previous experience.
Molly is not alone in that respect.
Still wet here, but my friends in Norn Iron are working in their garden and say the weather is beautiful there!

I like this little girl on America's Got Talent.
Very promising.

Hi, Rusty!
Wow, yes , Angelica was amazing, wasn't she?
I thought Mel B's comments were a bit harsh?
Personally, I loved the tone of Angelica's voice, although I preferred it when she sang more softly.......
She well deserved the Golden Buzzer!
I have just completed the crossword...... I have been doing it in dribs and drabs.....
I especially liked 13a: broken down ; 19a: Siecento ; 21d: tryst ; and 8d: matchless
Still four to parse, but otherwise I am quite pleased with my efforts!
I am just going to pop out briefly with the dog......

Hello, Elle,
My thoughts exactly regarding Mel B, and Angelica getting a wee bit shouty at times!
I don't think Mel B can help herself, but I do not think Simon should intervene.
She is a judge, after all, and is entitled to her opinion.
I think Howie gave Angelica the Golden Buzzer as a reaction to Mel's criticism?
I puzzled over 1d until I discovered the opera!
I had never heard of it. By Handel I think?
I liked today's puzzle.
Shall you have a go at the Latin puzzle?

Hi, Rusty!
Hi, Rusty!
I am home now for the rest of the day!
It was decidedly nippy out, but, despite a glowering sky, the rain held off.
Yes, I agree with you.......I think Mel was entitled to her opinion.
Simon's response was out of order.
We cannot all agree .... and life would be pretty boring if we did!
Yes, I have got the Latin puzzle here........
My friend very kindly sent it to me again.
But I cannot, for some unknown reason, get my printer to enlarge it ...and at the moment the grid and writing of the clues are too small to see comfortably.....especially as the printing has come out a very pale pink!!!!
I need to investigate what is amiss with the printer.....uhm.......!
How are you getting on with the Grand National?

Oops, Rusty!
Apologies for the double salutation!
The greeting seemed to have disappeared...….so I typed it in again.....
And now we have two!
