So, I got it all wrong regarding the little camera !

Things are moving too fast, It only seems yesterday when tablets were the in-thing ! How are we expected to keep up ! Not that I really need to keep up with everything, but I would not like to be left too much behind either. Difficult !

Hi, Rusty!
The Women's Ride London Grand prix is definitely in St. James' Park. This is the park that I was telling you about the other day.
It is in the City of Westminster, and is the oldest of London's Royal parks.
It includes The Mall and Horse Guards Parade - this is how we came to be talking about Trooping the Colour!
The Park is surrounded by Buckingham Palace, St James' Palace, Clarence House and Westminster.
Look out for all these features - hopefully, the coverage will show the surroundings as well as the race itself.
There is an hour's Athletics tomorrow on BBC 2 before your golf starts, if you are interested?
The Stockholm Bauhaus meeting at the Olympic Stadium.
Athletics, golf and then the women's cycle race.........one after the other on BBC 2.
I shall be watching the Athletics and then the cycling.
We will take the dog out in the morning as usual, but she may have to miss her afternoon run!

Elle, thank you for all the info!
I have the Clasica San Sebastian taking priority tomorrow.
I think Paula may have missed the cut in the golf.
Are you going out to watch the cycling?
Or, is it far away?
The roads will be closed.
Does the motorway situation with lorries in Kent affect you?

Good morning, Rusty!
We have a lovely day here yet again - I do hope we aren't exhausting the spell of good weather before the boys arrive on Tuesday!
Early mornings though seem destined to be quite chilly ( by my standards if not by your more hardened northern ones!)
What's your weather like?
We are quite a way out from the centre of London - about ten miles - so no, we won't be going to see the cycle race "in the flesh", although I shall watch it on the television - I am especially interested to see how much of the surroundings are shown.
And to answer your other query, although literally on the doorstep of Kent, we are a long way from the M20, so fortunately are not affected by the lorry queues.
It's an incredible situation, is it not? 6,000 lorries held up! I'm only surprised that this illegal immigrant situation hasn't occurred previously - it was a disaster waiting to happen, I think, ever since the Channel Tunnel was built.
Let's hope the powers-that-be get it under control soon.
I hope Paula's game improves as you have a bet on her!
What plans do you have for today?

Good day, Elle!
Very nice morning here!
Are you going on a tramcar today?
I have no plans, though I have added a new launcher (Apex) to my Hudl. And I have loads to learn on my chromebook. Jazzgirl drew my attention to the fact that there were few new threads posted yesterday on the forum. Folk moving on?
Never mind, today is Saturday, the day we get posts with bits of the clue missing, and the wrong letter count etc. Keeps you on your toes!
I suspect Paula has missed the cut and gone home to Mountain View.
It is a worrying situation at Calais etc.
A successful resolution seems miles away.
I saw an app in Playstore that you would like.
Think it is Fairy Fantasy.
Lots of bonnie wee fairies in the screen background.
May even download it, myself!

Morning everybody !

Nice day here too, in fact today and tomorrow we (around here) are going to be hotter than the South of France ! Nice !

As usual, I have no idea as to what is happening in the world, so I shall have to read up on the lorry/illegal imigrants situation.

I must say that I have used the shuttle Paris-London-Paris several times and found it simply marvellous. Main reason? you leave one country from the very centre of the Capital city, and you arrive in the other country in another Capital city. No travelling miles to airports, no queuing for luggages or loss of them!

Doglet, do you suffer from some case of claustrophobia ?

Rusty, is the Classic on Eurosport?

Hi, Rusty!
No, no trams today! I only do that when going to Croydon, and I stay well away from shops at the weekend (unless meeting my daughter, who cannot go at any other time as she is at work). Too hectic!
We will be going out later on, but at the moment I am doing a few household chores that didn't get finished yesterday.
I think perhaps the forum is quiet because of its being a holiday period? Many folk go away in July and August. There has been an absence too of the people who kept posting requests for answers to quizzes. These took up a lot of space on the forum. But many of these were requested by the quiz setters not to ask for help before a certain time had elapsed , so maybe they finally have taken notice of that?
Perhaps, as it's Saturday, it will be busier today.
When are the exam results out? It must be within the next week or so? Miss L-Plate must be getting anxious? or is she confident of getting the required grade for Uni? (I was never confident of any exam results- even though I did all right in the end!)
" There are fairies at the bottom of my garden...." I am still hugging my May tree daily........

Good day, Doglet, and Pigale!
Great weather here!
Doglet, this is a link that I have used to change my "search" key on Chromebook to "Caps lock" key.
Just a suggestion if you want to try ithttp://www.itworld.com/article/2699848/change-chromebook-search-key-to-caps-lock.html?

Pigale, The Clasica San Sebastian is on Eurosport at 2.30 Edinburgh time.
I am looking forward to it!

Morning, Doglet!
I'm only surprised that we haven't had rabies brought into the country through the Tunnel... surely infected animals can get through?
Don't you like the tube? I love it! When I first came to London, I never knew how to get anywhere above ground - I just popped up through a hole at my destination!
And the wonder of it you can't get lost, the tube map is so explicit!
