I still haven't started my crossword.....
I have been side -tracked!
It is perhaps as well you think it on the easy side , or else, at this rate, I might still be struggling with it at midnight!
It really is next on my list.....
I meant to ask you about Rachael Blackmore?
This is a new name to me.....I do not recall your having mentioned her prior to your doing so yesterday?
What does "broken her duck" mean?
It sounds rather like a cricket term?

Did any of you see the team time trial today in the Tirreno-Adriatico? What on Earth was going on? A pedestrian taking out 2 of the Boro riders, and, right at the end, a woman with a dog on a lead almost taking out the entire Michelton-Scott (leading) scuderia!

Rachael is establishing herself as a jockey in Ireland.
I won't have mentioned her before but she is well regarded.
And I like to see the young ones getting on.
"Broken her duck" does sound like a cricketing term.
"Out for a duck" certainly is.
To me it means she has ridden her first winner after several attempts.
I think the duck is "zero".
The winds have died away here.

I meant to tell you yesterday that one of the contestants on "Eggheads" was talking about meeting Rory McIlroy....when Rory was just four years old!
Apparently Rory and his parents had come to look at a house that the contestant was selling......
The father boasted about the four- year- old Rory's golfing prowess to the seller....
And Rory demonstrated a great shot!
I rather think the Egghead contestant has been dining out on this story for a very long time!

She has a few more rides at Cheltenham this week, mainly for Henry de Bromhead.
I am not a fan of Rory.
I used to like him, but no longer.
I watched "Celebrity Eggheads" last week on some obscure channel.
The only celebrity I knew was Anton du Beke, the dancer!

I should not recognise Rory McIlroy were I to see him, but I thought you might be amused by the story of his four- year- old golfing prowess!
Why do you no longer like him?
Did he do something amiss?
I wonder what happened to Dermot Murnaghan?
He first hosted "Eggheads " by himself, but then used to share hosting duties with Jeremy Vine.
At some stage Dermot totally disappeared from the programme without any explanation?
The wind seems to have dropped here, now.....

How is a pedestrian allowed to get away with such an action ?
Are there no repercussions?
It does not seem right that the cyclists should lose out as a result of such careless behaviour?

Oh, I know all about Rory's skills as a wee boy growing up.
I went right off him for the way he treated Caroline Wozniacki.
They were engaged to marry each other and McIlroy sent her a text message calling the wedding off.
What a rat! A text message!
She is far better off without him.
I have an inkling in the back of my head that he and Dermot Murnaghan attended the same school in Holywood?
It is calm here now.
My friends are sailing out from Belfast at 7.30.

Yes, that was a horrible way to break off an engagement!
I can quite understand your no longer liking the man.
I don't think I knew this about Caroline... or maybe I have just forgotten?
That is an early hour for your friends to set off.... but I expect they want to get the most out of their day.
