Hi, Rusty!
I have just - somewhat belatedly - been catching up with Saturday's "The Voice".
I do not think my musical judgement must be very good, as I often found myself choosing the opposite person to that decided by the coach!
Ah well, I guess it is an individual preference!
I haven't heard much about Storm Gareth?
We do seem to be having a lot of storms recently though, don't we?
The winds here have been very severe and a huge tree has come down in the park.....the force of it bringing a second tree down en route,
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
Is it Thursday when your friends come over from Norn Iron?
Are they flying?
Or coming by ferry?

Hello, Elle!
I was watching the football and it is very heavy rain in Paisley.
Don't know if that is to do with Gareth?
My friends got a special deal on the Stena ferry.
They almost always come by sea and bring their car.

Here are the Waltons saying "Goodnight"!

Good morning, Rusty!
Wet and windy here!
I have been out with the dog, but it is quite a battle against the wind.
I had intended taking a plant to the Crematorium, but I doubt that plant and ceramic pot would last long in these gales......
I shall take it another (more gentle) day.
How is the weather with you?
I liked the Waltons all saying "Goodnight" to each other!
What a heart warming gesture!
It must have been a lovely programme.
Now, I have been trying to find out how to watch the Cycling going through Pigale's village?
I had thought that I might see it on BBC Sport Online........but cannot find any live cycling?
I am not very good at this......
Any ideas?

Good morning, Elle!
It is calm here so far, but forecast is for winds!
My son is working in Fife today, so I hope the bridge stays open!
I really liked the Waltons!
One strange thing I never worked out, was,
The couple who owned the store were Ike and Corabeth Godsey.
Corabeth always called Ike "Mr Godsey". Strange!
Look for Paris-Nice stage 3 "streams" on Google, Elle.
From Cepoy to Moulins.
It is being shown on EuroSport but not the entire stage.
The first intermediate sprint is at Pigale's village.
I doubt very much if BBC Sport would show it.

Hi, Rusty!
Still raining and boisterous winds here......I'm glad I opted not to go to the Crematorium.
I have typed that reference into Google, Rusty.......
This is the link it brought up
http://www.cyclingfans.com/paris-nice/live
I have acquired some photographs......but no live transmission?
I may of course be overlooking something obvious to others, but I cannot see any means of making this a live showing?
And still nothing on BBC Sport.....

Hello, Elle!
Forget BBC, they rarely cover cycling.
Try looking in here for live stream.

http://www.cyclingfans.com/paris-nice/live
There are several other sites, too.

Hi, Rusty!
That is the same link that I sent you - see my previous post.

I have some video clips, but they do not appear to be today's race...one was dated 2018!

I think I shall bow out gracefully - the odds on my spotting Pigale are very slight anyway!
And I have at least attempted to find her!

Thank you anyway!

Hello, Elle!
Here is another live stream for today's stage.

https://tiz-cycling.live/

I am sure Pigale will give you a wave!

Just finished my puzzle.
Was tricky today!

Hello Elle and Rusty!

Well, I am just back from watching the Paris-Nice race.
In the end, I watched it just outside the Tavern where I meet my
mates, as the Sprint spot was way up by Super U, just over a
Km from the town, and much too far for me to walk.
We saw them come down the hill at great speed, grouped together,
and negotiate the sharp right hander with no problem.
My goodness though, what a great number of motorbikes and
cars both before the peloton and after! Having said that, I remember thinking just that every time I watched the Tour de France.

No caravane/convoy preceding the race though, so no freebies!
I reckon the Paris-Nice does not have the same budget as does the
Tour!

It was both windy and rather fresh waiting for the riders, particularly at that corner, but the sun and blue sky were there
to welcome them. Unfortunately the Tavern does not get the
sun at this time of the day!

I doubt you would have been able to see me - there does not
seem to be any TV coverage before 3.30 French time - they might
show the sprint by Super U, but the rest is probably of no interest.
I am glad to say that local folks were out to watch the race, although
not those who are working obviously.

This is about it - a lot of waiting for just a few minutes watching!
