Hello, Elle!
We are forecast to go down to minus 5C overnight.
That's a tad chilly!
The trust I invest in, invests in approximately 500 companies throughout the world, but over 50% of them are in the USA and Amazon is their top holding.
Good to hear Amazon Customer Service are as friendly and efficient as that.
I knew about the A to Z Guarantee but have never needed it's assistance, up to now.
Yes, your money is safe.
I have just ordered a book on eBay.
"Great Irish Escape" by Monty Hall.
Monty tells of his experiences of living on the Wild Atlantic Way.
I like Monty, hope his book is good.
Miss L-B has just invited me out for a bacon roll tomorrow.
I agreed,....roads permitting!

Hi, Rusty!
I don't know Monty Hall?
Who is he?
And how does he connect to the Wild Atlantic Way?
Speaking of which.... my Geography knowledge is very poor, as you know, but isn't Galway along that stretch of coast?
Remember the friend whom I mentioned the other day - the one who said that he was "sweating cobs"?
Well.......his brother has just moved back to Ireland, and he and his wife are setting up a B & B business in Galway!
I was thinking that when my daughter and family do their tour of the Wild Atlantic Way, they could maybe go and stay with him.
Yes, a bacon roll sounds good for tomorrow morning -weather permitting!

Hello, Elle!
Here's Monty
http://www.montyhalls.co.uk/about-monty
He likes the Irish coast and has his holidays in Donegal.
His book is on the link.
Yes, Galway is on the Wild Atlantic Way, between Mayo and Clare.
Your daughter may "watch the sun go down on Galway Bay"!
I told Miss L-B we will go if the roads are OK.
Here's Monty and family going on holiday.

Hi, Rusty!
I have been reading, and watching, your links.......thank you!
Donegal is indeed beautiful!
No wonder you like to go back ...and that Monty Halls and his family like to spend their holidays there!
I hope my daughter does eventually get to do her tour.... I know her husband also wants to visit family .
Here is a very young Bing also "see (ing) the sun go down on Galway Bay"......

Enjoy!

Good morning, Rusty!
We have a very heavy hard frost here... but a glorious day!
Very slippery out though.
Are you still set for your trip to the Pine Cone...or has the weather defeated you?

Good morning, Elle!
Great day here, but quite cold and very frosty.
After discussion we are going ahead to Pine Cone.
The main roads are fine....but we won't be on main roads!
I have started my puzzle.
Leaving it now until I return.
3d, appears to have a corporal called Nym?
Anne Bradford has nym under corporal, too.
Do you know anything about nym?
I shall go a-hunting for it/him when I come back.
I'll say no more in case you have not started it yet.

Hi, Rusty!
It is good that you are still able to go to the Pine Cone!
I hope Miss L-B is a cautious driver , though, in these adverse conditions?
I know her sister rather fancies herself as being at Brand's Hatch!
Yes, I have made a start on the puzzle!
"Toponym" is a new word for me, but I can help with the "nym" part...
"Nym" is a soldier from Henry V, and also, I think, "The Merry Wives of Windsor" - although I haven't read the latter.
I bless the fact that we read so much Shakespeare at school!
Have a good time on your trip out!

Hello, Elle!
Just home.
Roads not too bad.
Miss L-B is a great driver!
There is a new restaurant opened nearby that we shall visit next week.
Not sure if they will do bacon rolls though!
Ah, so Nym was in a Shakespeare play, was he?
Thank you for that.
I know a wee bit about Caliban, and little more about the bard's plays!
No Shakespeare at my school!
Do you know of John B. Keane?
I have ordered a book of his.
"The Bodhran Makers".
Hope it's good!
