Hello, Elle!
Hope you get on fine with Amazon.
I had never heard of "Cold Feet".
I have one or two things to do tomorrow as well.
Hope the snow stays away!

Good morning, Elle!
We have snow!
I was out driving earlier (and this afternoon) and traffic moving slowly.

Good morning, Rusty!
It is a beautiful day here - but very cold, effectively minus 2C!
The lakes in the park are frozen and everywhere is frosty, but....no snow!
How much snow do you have?
I hope it is safe driving, as you say you have to do so again later?
Amazon went very well!
I am again very impressed by the efficiency, helpfulness, and friendliness of the staff.
The young man to whom I spoke this morning is contacting Paper Cavalier for me, to tell them the cost of the postal refund.
And all I have to do is simply scan the postal receipt, and send a copy to Amazon itself.
So now we wait and see if the £60 plus finds its way back home......!

Hello, Elle!
We have about an inch of snow.
Roads a bit slippy, but traffic moving steadily.
I hope it will be safe driving, too!
Heading out at 1.00 to my new dentist.
Well done Amazon!
Hopefully they will get your refund sorted out!

Hi, Rusty!
Oops! I may have missed you......
I got involved in sorting out another problem......I am in 'fighting' mode and ready to take on giants!
I hope your roads do not become dangerously slippery....be careful when driving to your appointment.
A new dentist? What happened to your nice Iranian lady?
I am told that it is our turn for snow at midnight......
I do hope not!

Good afternoon, Elle!
Who are you at war with, now?
Most of the snow has gone, but our forecast is for a very cold night!
My very nice Iraqi lady dentist has left the practice, unfortunately.
My new dentist is a fine young man (I hope) from Norn Iron!
And as a bonus, my new dental nurse is Miss La Bamba's best friend, and you could not meet a nicer girl.
Hope you miss the snow!

Hi, Rusty!
It is good to hear that your snow has disappeared.
I think we are all in for colder temperatures; let us just hope that the snow remains at bay.
I was tossing up as to whether your previous dentist came from Iraq or Iran...I couldn't remember!
I hope you get on well with the new guy...and yes, nice to have Miss L-B's friend as dental nurse.
I hope all was well with your teeth?
No, I am not at war......simply helping out a friend with a problem.
I've been doing a bit of research, and sorting out a few things for her by ringing various people.
I hope I was of some help.

Hello, Elle!
It is minus 2C here, now, and may be colder through the night.
Duchess Kate was here today.
She was at the V&A Museum.
She is the Countess of Strathearn when in Scotland.
My new dentist is a very nice friendly lad.
I have a bit of "dry mouth" just now.
He gave me special toothpaste for it.
Going back next Monday.

Hi, Rusty!
It is sleeting here.....not a good omen!
I have not heard of "dry mouth" before?
Is it causing you pain or discomfort?
It sounds as though it has something to do with the salivary glands?
I hope the new toothpaste helps.
At least your (new) dentist is checking on you again next week; he is obviously on the ball!
And drinking plenty of water, and keeping hydrated will probably help.
I have just discovered an email from Emma, the Assistant Manager of the Loch of the Lowes Visitor Centre.
The Nature Reserve is celebrating fifty years of osprey observation this year!
She is asking for people to send in any special memories that they might have of the ospreys at Loch of the Lowes; also any additional photos or memories about the history of the reserve.
They are planning s special celebration for its Golden Anniversary!
It should be an interesting Summer!
I am looking forward to seeing if Lassie and Laddie return......

Hello, Elle!
Sleet is better than snow!
Dry mouth is quite common.
Yes, there is quite a bit of pain, as if I needed several fillings here and there.
No, what happened, was I booked next Monday for my check-up, but I was feeling pain yesterday towards teatime and phoned the receptionist who told me to come in today, but we all agreed I would still come in next week.
He did a swab test, from my tongue, too, and that is off for testing for bugs, I think.
Fingers crossed the ospreys will return!
