Pigale, elves are more closely related to hobgoblins than the faery folk. And are more prone to pranks.
There are many along the border between Scotland and England. The Elf kirk is in Northumberland.
Will o' the wisps are bad relations of elves and you should never ever follow them!
Elle's faeries seem to be a peaceful group as long as she would not be poking about the hawthorn tree with a stick, or calling loudly. They do not like noise.
We may hear more of Elle's little people.

Rusty, I'm wondering why you were browsing America....?
Now, I was fascinated by what you've just said and so I googled Newport News. This is what I came up with......
Newport News was named for Christopher Newport, captain of the Susan Constant, the lead ship of the three ship fleet that carried the Jamestown settlers to the new world in 1607.
Captain Newport made several more trips between the new world and England. After the Starving Time of 1610, the original colonists abandoned Jamestown and encountered Captain Newport in the James River and learned that reinforcements of men and supplies had arrived, thus prompting their return to Jamestown. The place where that occurred became known for Newport’s good news, ‘Newport’s News,’ and eventually just Newport News
So there you are... although I cannot vouch for the authenticity of this......(you cannot believe everything you read on the Internet!)
- and I didn't know until you told me that Ella Fitzgerald was born there!
I've never heard of Queen Esther Marrow - have you made that up?!
I also didn't know that Norn Iron was Northern Ireland!
My education is progressing in leaps and bounds - but not gallumphing!

Elle, browsing? I suppose I just do things!
No rhyme or reason. From Madame du Barry to Aunt Rhody!
Now that is going to lead me on to more digging, because I do not know Captain Newport, but the Susan Constant is certainly ringing bells. I read a book years ago called Chesapeake and the James River featured in it.
Will go a-digging tomorrow! I have read a bit about Jamestown. And why would I be making up the legendary Queen Esther Marrow?
I was wondering when you would twig Norn Iron!
You have to learn Norn Iron as a language too or you will find Belfast mystifying...so you will.
And another thing I found out and I am aghast at is that Martina Hingis got a two year ban for cocaine use!
I have binned her, lovely smile and all.
Don't be clattering about going to bed and putting the cat out. Think faery folk!

Apparently Ms Hingis was named after Martina Navratilova as her parents, wanted her to be a top tennis player.
There was no pressure then!

I did not know that, Rossim.
Was it Miss Hingis who was stabbed on court?
Some lady player was.
Elle would know but she is involved with faeries lately.

Good Morning, Rusty!
It's a very dull day and the forecast doesn't augur well for Wimbledon - heavy rain showers forecast! It's a good job that they now have the roof!
I'm thinking that perhaps I did know that Martina H was banned for drug taking but that I'd forgotten about it? (Something is vaguely stirring in the nether regions of my brain!)
Personally, I think that a ban should be lifelong, but I do think that there should be the same conditions across the board. Dwain Chambers had it rough from the British officials, whereas athletes from other countries had a much shorter drug suspension and were allowed to compete again comparatively soon.
One rule for all? What is your opinion on this?
I hang my head in shame for not knowing that QEM was the lead singer in the Harlem Gospel singers! Still, I know now!
Yes, Kenyatta was quite correct - it was Monica Seles who was stabbed. It happened on court in Hamburg, during a match with Maggie Maleeva.
A spectator - a man from East Germany - leaned across the seating barrier and stabbed Monica in the back. It was a long time ago, when she was only 19.
At first, it was thought that the attacker was mentally disturbed, then that he was a fan of Steffi Graff (or maybe both? I don't know what the eventual outcome was?)
I was up early this morning thinking to beat the rain - the fairies are still asleep - which wasn't supposed to start until 9 o'clock - however, it's now pouring down...so will wait a while before taking out the dog.....
Tennis doesn't start until 2pm.......
