Thank you, Pigale!
I'll see my friends tomorrow. I am their best man from whenst they wed. I introduced them.
The matchmaker! But it was not at Lisdoonvarna!
Cavendish won well. Pity Marcel Kittel is not in the Tour though. Tomorrow it is less flat, so will Voeckler make a move? And then the team time trial, which will be ferocious. Sky still have their big engines but other teams have lost men, so could be time gaps.
Could Tejay van Garderen be in yellow on Sunday?
Or will Froome take the jersey to the mountains?
We shall see!

Hi, Doglet!
A fantastic result!!!
Fingers crossed for Sunday now!
and with a bit of luck , Serena will get beaten tomorrow too!
I've remembered the Athletics tomorrow - we'll just get it in before the start of Wimbledon!
A busy weekend!

Hey, Rusty!
Yes, Roger beat Andy Murray in three straight sets! Terrific tennis! I have to give it to Andy though - he was very gracious in defeat ( I'll give him a couple of Brownie points!)
So, Final on Sunday between Federer and Djokovic - should be good!
I'm glad you saw Martina H play - do you know if she won her Mixed Doubles match as well?
Now tomorrow..... it is Garbine Muguruza whom you need to bet on against Serena PR! ( but I feel fairly sure that Serena regrettably will win, so don't bet too much on her opponent!)
But you'll most probably be out and about with your friends? I didn't know that you played matchmaker to them? - how many years ago was that?
Weren't you supposed to be meeting with one of your granddaughters tomorrow too?
Re books for Dummies... I have one about Hudl!

sorry - pigale, not doglet. You're excused for not knowing; the french don't have much interest in cricket, i think?

In fact ChrisE, there are some French people who take an interest in the game - not many I grant you but as I said to Kenyatta yesterday, it is difficult to understand all these 'ins' and 'outs' and 'overs' etc...

I remain interested in the results and the commentary on Radio 4, even though I do not really understand it .
I ordered yesterday a little book ' And God created Cricket', so perhaps I might be a bit wiser after reading it! The little bit of knowledge I gathered is what my husband tried to explain, but in fact it all confused me even more !

Hey, yourself, Elle!
I don't know the result of Martina's other game.
I hope she wins though.
A refreshing change to see someone smiling when they play!
I did not see Murray. Hope Jamie plays well.
No, my bets are just for fun!
If I win it is a nice surprise!
I do not like cheats so will back Miss Muguruza.
Which neck of the woods does she hail from?
My friends are 15years wed, I seem to remember.
Quite a lot younger than me, all my friends are.
Yes, meeting senior granddaughter tomorrow.
She has a new car and is keen to show me it!
How is the Dummies book?
Now you are very intelligent, Elle, so, an opinion, please.
Is "going forward" the new in-phrase?
As was "at this moment in time" a few years ago.

Cricket is a bit like Marmite - you either love it or hate it!
I love it, particularly when England play Australia or New Zealand as I have friends and relatives there and we can exchange some polite banter!
I recently had to explain cricket to some Polish people who could not understand how a match which lasted 5 days could end up as an exciting draw! They thought we were bonkers - and perhaps we are!

HI, Rusty!
I think Garbine Mugueuza is Spanish- Venezuelean?
She hasn't gone beyond the quarter- final of a grand slam before. She is the first Spaniard to be in the Ladies' Single Final since Arantxa Sanchez- Vicario lost to Steffi Graf in the 1995 and 1996 title matches.
I very much doubt she can beat Serena but there is always hope!
So has Miss ATW not gone to P in the Dark with the others, if she is driving you around the countryside tomorrow??
You ask about "Hudl for Dummies"- it's very clear and concise but a lot of it deals with aspects of the hudl that I would never use - so I probably find only about a third of the book relevant.
Now..... I think I'm going to destroy what little street cred I might have , by denying knowledge of the phrase "going forward"? I've never heard it used?
Is it on a par with "in future"?
My plan for tomorrow is an early walk and then back home possibly in time to watch the Diamond League in Lausanne ( or I may record it) and then watch the Ladies' tennis in the afternoon.
Sunday goes without saying.....!
I'll be quite glad when Wimbledon finishes - at least I can get my life back!
How about you? will you have any time to watch the tennis - or cycling? You sound to be busy with granddaughter and your friends......
