Rusty, I know Orica GreenEdge is the first team to start, but do you really think they have a chance to win ?

Hello, Pigale,
Up until the crashes I thought Orica GreenEDGE were sure to win the TTT.
But they have lost 3 men, and Matthews is carrying injuries, so......?
Now, I think BMC will win, and I hope by enough to put Tejay into the yellow jersey.
Movistar will be there, and probably Team Sky.
Who do you think?

Hi again Rusty,

I think Movistar has a very strong team for a race like today's - but what about Tinkoff-Saxo ? with riders like Contador, Basso and Sagan (amongst others), their team is quite strong too.

Hello, Jazzgirl!
Hardly "underwear" though, or am I missing something?
Something I have never worn.
The kilt, yes, but not trews.
The kilt, surprisingly, is very warm to wear!

The dictionary states that they are sometimes worn under the kilt ?

Hello, Pigale!
Yes, the Tinkoffs must be considered, but Basso has done nothing so far.
I would like to see a new winner of Le Tour, hence my support of Tejay van Garderen.
Though I would have loved to see Geraint Thomas battling for yellow!

Ah,Maybe not as I thought:
"close-cut tartan shorts worn under the kilt"
Time for lunch I think.....

Ah, Rusty, I see my secret is out! However did you discover my undercover image?
(So now you know why the May tree fairies and I get along so well! "Sisters"!)
Have you heard from the girls this morning? Any further news on the mystery man's death?
My younger daughter , son- in -law, and three -year-old grandson are all in Brittany now... she texted last night at around 9.30 to say that they had arrived in Plymouth, where they were catching the ferry.
Then at 10.30 this morning, I had a second text saying that they had arrived safely at the campsite. They are staying in a chalet - I've seen a photograph, it looks most attractive and comfortable. They are right by the sea. The young one will love it!
We are in charge of their cat whilst they are away. This entails visiting said cat as we cannot have him here as he hates dogs with a vengeance!
I think Martins Hengis' ban would have come from the International Tennis Federation?
I agree with what you say about suspensions. As I said previously, I think that a suspension/ ban should mean for "life" - never to practise the sport - be it tennis, athletics, whatever, again.
But it does need to be an across- the -board decision- there cannot be one rule for a contestant from one country and a different one for someone from another country.
What have you got planned for today?
P. S. Just read what you said about the kilt... my cousin's tartan is the MacLean.

Jazzgirl, never! Surely not Chambers? An Edinburgh company too!
Trews are worn instead of the kilt.
Tartan trousers.
Tradition dictates nothing is worn under the kilt.
