Hi, Rusty!
After all the anticipation, and build up, ready to watch the tennis at a quarter to five, my daughter phoned at zero hour!
We have only just stopped chatting...so I shall watch the tennis highlights later ...no point in switching on with only 15 minutes to go!
And I don't want to learn the end of whatever match they show before seeing the rest of it!
It is still wet and windy here!
The temperature is definitely dropping from this morning.
We actually made double figures then......... 12C!

I have just finished watching the tennis highlights.
The women's match between Angie Kerber and Madison Keys was shown in its entirety.
An easy win for Angelique who simply outplayed the American.
Angie now meets Simona Halep in the Semis.
Caroline Wozniacki is in the other Semi, but I cannot remember whom she is playing?
On paper, Simona and Caroline - being the first two seeds - should meet in the Final........
But who knows the way Angelique is playing?
Disappointingly, Roger's match was not shown!

Elise Mertens plays Miss Wozniacki, according to Paddy Power!

He was playing quite well, the bit that I saw.

Yes, Roger won in three straight sets, although unfortunately I did not get to see any of it.
He now plays Chung in the Semi -Final,.
I have never seen Chung play...I think he is South Korean?
Kyle Edmunds plays Marin Cilic in the other Semi-Final.
Fingers crossed for Kyle.... but Cilic is a good strong player.
We have only just had dinner........running very late this evening!

What a surprise after yesterday's heavy rain!
I see that all the tennis matches are nearly over.........
I hadn't accounted for the time difference.....
The Women's Final, as could expected, is to be between Simona Halep and Caroline Wozniacki.
(Although I had rather hoped that Angie Kerber might make a come- back)
And Kyle Edmund and Marin Cilic's match is happening right now........Cilic having taken the first set.
Maybe you are watching it?

Well, Cilic is two sets up, and three sets to one in the third set, having just broken Kyle's serve........so not looking good.
I am sitting at the computer, gazing like an idiot at the live results on Google.....in between writing a letter!
I, too, am going out shortly.
I'm just waiting for a friend to arrive to collect me, and then we are going shopping and out to lunch afterwards.
I should be back in time to watch the tennis highlights later!
Yes, I am (99%) sure that the BBC will show Kyle's match!
