Hello, Elle!
No Consultant involved, Elle, it was GP who requested the scan.
The lady found two different sites where there had been infections but nothing else.
She will forward report to my GP.
She was saying she is a big fan of Ed Sheeran, too!
I like him, too!
She told me they had had several "no shows" today.
In my appointment letter, it said each "no show" costs NHS Scotland, £177.
No idea what the solution to "no shows" is.
Weather was fine, roads are fine, so no excuse that I can think of?

Hi, Rusty!
Oh, I see.....
So does this mean that you have been given a clean bill of health then?
If so, that is brilliant!
Very good news indeed!
I watched the highlights of Kyle Edmund playing Grigor Dimitrov....
Kyle won! So he is in the Semi-Finals!
Well done , Kyle!
Rafa has had to withdraw due to injury, so Marin Cilic goes through.
I think Kyle and Marin Cilic now play each other.
I am not sure where we are at with the other Semi- Final?

Hello, Elle!
No clean bill of health here.
Soldiering onward though!
The other semi-final will be between two lads wearing pink!
Edmund is doing very well.
How is Madison Keys doing, I wonder?

Hi, Rusty!
Sorry, Rusty, if I misunderstood you........
I am a tad confused here?
I thought you said that the doctor/ technician (whoever performed the scan) said that she found (I quote) "two different sites where there had been infections but nothing else".
I assumed - wrongly? - that she meant perhaps scar tissue from a previous infection, but otherwise nothing abnormal?
( It is not customary here for the person performing the scan to comment on the results.
We have to wait to see whichever doctor referred us.)
So there may be something amiss?
When do you see your GP again then?
Kyle and Grigor wore salmon pink today!

Hello, Elle!
No need to be sorry!
I have one or two unrelated ailments.
She found nothing wrong, she told me, except for previous infections.
I did not ask her, she volunteered the info when she had finished scanning.
And she, or someone else, will tell GP.
Why would there be something amiss when she said there was nothing else wrong?
I am happy with that.
The report takes a week, says she, so I will make an appointment then, for a chat.
I think the designers of the tennis outfits are needing punted.
The pink stuff is awful!

Hi, Rusty!
Ah, I am with you now!
I think we were slightly at cross purposes......
But all was okay with today's tests.
That is good!
Yes, I thought the salmon pink was a bit of any eyeful......
And not a particularly good idea to dress both players in the same colour?
Even in the old days.....in the Westerns, .the "goodies" wore white shirts and hats, and the "baddies" were all in black!
I think Madison Keys plays Angelique Kerber in the Quarter Finals, tomorrow.

Hello, Elle!
The men's pink outfits are awful!
And they are everywhere!
Should be a good contest with Keys and Kerber tomorrow.
Two fine players.
I don't know much about Kerber, but I like Madison Keys.
She is a close friend of Sloane Stephens.
It is turning out to be a good Championship!

"No shows" have aways been a problem. I think people should be fined for them unless they can produce a certificate to say they were ill. Alternatively there could be a system of deposits- you only get a hospital appointment if you pay this, returned if you turn up. Or charged to a credit card.
Here if you don't turn up you go straight back to the end of the queue (which can be months long)

Hello, Rosalind,
My impression, on speaking to radiology staff yesterday, is, that "no shows" are a very common occurrence, which is why I was seen before my appointment time.
I think the "no shows" occur in all hospital departments.
I think going to the back of the queue is what happens here, too.
Both my GP and dentist have a system where they send you a "reminder" text to your mobile 'phone the day before your appointment.
I would not like to say that that would reduce the number of "no shows" or not, if used by the hospitals.

Good morning, Elle!
The weather is wild here!
High winds, rain, and now the sun has come out!
Should ease nearer tea time.
Do not think I'll venture far if I go out today.
Kerber has beaten Keys in less than an hour.
Seems to have been a bit one-sided.
