Hi, Rusty!
No frost here...just fresh mud!
I don't know about retiring with foot blisters....although I imagine they are painful? - but Chung was losing rather badly at the time...only a game away from two sets down!
The Federer/Cilic match should be a good one.
I'm not really bothered now who wins the Women's Final - I had a sneaking liking for Angie Kerber, though.
Could you not record the match if you are to be out with your grandson?
I have just been down to the GP's surgery with my husband.
He has a chest infection so needed some antibiotics.
(I went in my capacity as Cavalry!)
What are you expecting from Amazon?

Hello, Elle!
These tennis players do plenty of running around and I'd have thought their feet would be plenty tough to avoid blisters.
The Women's Final would probably clash with the skiing.
And there is much sport on Saturday, including some good horse racing, and the golf.
So doubt if I'll record anything.
Just watched Wendy Holdener win the slalom.
A good puzzle today!

Hi, Rusty!
I too have finished today's 15 X 15.
Yes, quite a straightforward one today.
I think I have more or less parsed it all correctly......
You sound as though you have a good day planned out for tomorrow!
An outing, followed by plenty of sport to watch !
The highlights of both Singles matches are being shown by the BBC - about an hour and a half's innings on both occasions.
There is a programme on Sunday that perhaps you might find interesting?
"Britain's Cycling Superheroes: The Price of Success" on BBC2.
It is a documentary about International cyclists and the surrounding controversy.
Unless of course, you have already seen it?
It is marked as a "Repeat".

Hello, Elle!
My grandson tells me has booked a table as the cafe we are going to, is very popular.
I have to be ready to rumble at 9.15!
Elle, I do not know the BBC programme but shall take an interest.
My cycling superhero is Peter Sagan, now that Fabian Cancellara has retired.
I think the only British cyclist who would get close to that category would be Laura Trott, in my opinion.
The programme is on YouTube and I may try it later.
Still fairly cold here, but the temperature is due to rise tomorrow!

Hi, Rusty!
So is this a "new" cafe to you then?
Well it will be a change of surroundings.
Just as long as they serve bacon rolls......?
A good idea to book a table.
If that cycling programme is on YouTube that will make it easier for you.......you can watch it anytime , rather than your having first to record it.
My poor husband is coughing away and popping the pills....he really does sound rough.
I'm supplying hot drinks! What's the expression...."tea and sympathy"!
I've cancelled our arrangements for the weekend, so that he can stay in and keep warm.
These bugs are relentless!
Time for tennis......

Hello Elle and Rusty,

Sorry to hear about your poor husband Elle - and to think you
were so careful and kept away whoever in your family could have
brought in a germ!
Hope the pills get to work reasonably fast! You must be worried!

Is everything Okay Rusty? Busy with sport I believe?

Mild and grey here, but no wind, for once!

Hello, Elle!
I have watched the prog on YouTube.
I think I have seen it before.
This is a new cafe to me, but my son goes regularly for breakfast on weekend mornings, so I think it will be fine.
The prices look fine, and that is always a consideration for me.
Your husband is best staying home in the warmth of your house.

Hello, Pigale!
All well here!
Hope you are the same.
Slightly warmer weather here, now!

Hi, Rusty!
Was the cycling programme worth watching?
It just caught me eye when I was looking through the TV guide for the tennis, and I thought you might find it interesting.
The Roger v Chung match was shown on the highlights programme.
It was good to see Roger in action.......and I was interested to see Chung play, as I hadn't encountered him before.
Roger was very nice about him when talking later to Jim Courier....but I couldn't see why Chung couldn't at least see out the set before retiring?
Only one /two games to play!
A bit odd?

Hello, Pigale!
It has stayed fine today , but the temperature is dropping again.
We shall be staying at home over the weekend though, as my husband isn't well, so the weather won't play a big part in our lives for the next two days!
The dog and I shall venture out...but she doesn't care if it rains or shines!

Hello, Elle!
The cycling prog made me uncomfortable.
I have no time for British Cycling and even less for Team Sky.
It was good to see Victoria P., and Jessie V, and Emma Poolley, though.
An odd way for Chung to go out.
I think Roger will win now.

Hi, Rusty!
Oh dear, I am sorry now that I drew your attention to it...I knew you had followed all the incidents, and thought you might like to see it.
Not one of my better ideas!
I have a few recorded programmes that I have yet to watch...I think I shall find the one of "Casualty" and watch it before going to bed.
A coffee and a potato cake might go down well.......
You will be off out in the morning before I get back from my walk........
I hope you enjoy your time spent with your grandson and his girlfriend!
