But I have finally caught up with myself.......
All the things on my (mental) list are now ticked!
I can relax!
I have the tennis highlights yet to watch........and "The Voice" later on.
I can put my feet up and enjoy!

I have had a canny day.
We had a slight fall of snow earlier, but the sky is clear now.
Some sleet forecast for tomorrow, then the temperature is going up to 5C on Monday!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, it's been a busy day...but all sorted now.
I have been watching Roger playing Richard Gasquet.
Only the highlights were shown, but it was obviously an excellent match.
I am pleased to say that Roger won in three straight sets.
The score did not really reflect the standard of play......because altho Roger won, Gasquet played very well.
I only saw a bit of the following match....but Maria lost out to Angelique Kerber.
( So justice was done! )
Have you managed to watch any of the tennis?

I did not see the tennis.
I heard Maria was out to Kerber.
Two fine players.
Only sport I saw was Un De Sceaux winning the Clarence House Chase at Ascot for Willie Mullins.
A very good horse!

BB had his football party today to celebrate his sixth birthday.
Apparently, it went well.......
I am to hear all about it in person tomorrow!
We are all going out to lunch together.

A very cold and damp day, here.
I haven't been beyond the garden.
We shan't be going out till midday, so a relaxing morning before me......

Staying home today.
Meant to be going to Pine Cone but roads may be a tad slippy so the girls are coming to see me.
Just a two minute walk for them.
Temperature is going up to 5C tomorrow!

We have just had a snow flurry!
I am going out dressed as for the Arctic.....!
It sounds a good plan to have the girls come visit you, instead of driving to the Pine Cone, especially as they only have a very short walk to reach you.

Still raining/ snowing /sleeting ...take your pick.
What a miserable day!
We had a lovely time.......we went to Pizza Express by special request of the birthday boy.
I saw photos of yesterday's football party!
It looked brilliant.
The children played outside (altho I believe there are indoor facilities should the weather prove too abysmal)
The birthday lunch was served on a long table dressed like a football pitch - the table surface appearing to be "grass"!
Very imaginative!
