Yes, I felt really guilty last night........there was I, meant to be looking after my poor husband..........and I deserted the sinking ship...........and took myself off to bed!
However, I am up this morning, to see to the dog.......and to administer hot drinks and antibiotics to the invalid!
I shall stay indoors today though.
I can watch Roger play Marin Cilic!

Elle, I'd done everything possible to avoid seeing the result before the BBC highlights. I'd put the television and radio off, didn't look at this thread... and then the outcome appeared in a totally random question here! Still, I was pleased that the Final had such a good match. I'm sure you (and Roger!) would have been delighted if he'd won 6-2, 6-2, 6-2, but a hard-fought match is preferable.

He has slept for most of the day...so that is hopefully healing.......

You have foxed me! I always thought that Ping Pong was just another name for table tennis?
I have tried Googling it but am getting different answers?
Some sites say the games are identical...whereas others say that said there is a difference in the way the ball bounces.
It said that in Ping Pong the ball is required to bounce on the hitter's side of the table first.
I have no idea what to believe!
Perhaps someone reading this will put us straight!
