Hi, Rusty!
It will be nice to have your son call round.......
How is the snow? Is he having problems getting his car up the hill?
You are having a busy time!
(Is all this activity keeping you OUT of mischief.....or leading you into it?!)
I too have a busy day coming up tomorrow.......I need to go shopping for our grandchildren's birthday presents.
Clothes for our granddaughter....a dictionary and a diary for our grandson!
He likes writing! he will be 6 tomorrow!

Hello, Elle!
The roads are slippy, but we have not had much snow.
The Borders got plenty, though!
My son came here after work.
He does not mind the snow, he is an Advanced driver.
My car passed MOT today.
Have things to do tomorrow, too!

They dangle the Aussie Open enticingly before me.......
BBC2 is giving Highlights coverage next week as you said, but generally only a meagre 45 to 60 minutes a day!

Did not realise they were partnered in the Doubles!

Hi, Rusty!
I am finally home again now!
What an exhausting day it has been!
And only partially successful!
I got a load of books for my grandson that I am sure he will love.
But could not find any nice clothes for my granddaughter.......I may have to take her, personally, on a shopping spree.....
Perhaps she will like what I do not?
I thought you had just been for an eye check only recently?
Or am I misremembering?
No crosswords for me today!
Hailstoning here!!

Hi, Rusty!
I was talking to BB earlier - he is very excited about being 6 today!
On Saturday he is having a "football party"....boys and girls (it seems girls are well into football these days!)
These "themed" parties are all the rage!
And on Sunday we are all going out for a family lunch to celebrate the occasion!
I hadn't realised that you were worried about your first eye test....but getting a second opinion was a sensible move.
I hope this has put your mind at rest and you are feeling happier now?
Did your son come to visit?

Hi, Rusty!
I forgot to ask whether the football party was inside or out!
Perhaps a five -a - side indoor version , would you think, in this weather?
I shall check on this tomorrow when I speak to my daughter.
I think YB ( at not yet 2) may find he is not allowed to participate!
He will be disappointed........he always wants to follow Big Brother!
A chippy tea sounds good - especially if being brought by Miss ATW........good company whilst you eat!
How is she getting on in her flat?
