Hi, Rusty!
That is good that all went well at the opticians.
Now, the tennis....!
All I can get on EP is a match between Caruso and Jaziri , which is in its final fifth set now....
It isn't even telling me what channel is showing....... the same match is showing wherever I click?
I am not even sure whether my contract is still valid - I think in theory today is my last (extended ) day......
To be honest...it's a shambles!
What can you see on yours?

"Live" tennis is finished for the day.
They have a different o'clock down in Oz.
Both channels were showing the tennis.
Different games on each channel.
Appeared to be the Rod Laver courts on one channel.
And the other channel showing matches from Margaret Court courts.
The men's clothes designers deserve shooting.
Awful outfits.
Nadal was in pink!

I really don't think EuroSport Player knows what it is about!
I cannot log in "normally"...I can only access the site through a previous email sent to me....
This gives me access to the tennis - but doesn't tell me which Courts are in play - and informs me in red print that the tennis showing is "live"....which I know to be untrue, as it has Kyle Edmund playing Kevin Andersen....
And I already know that Kyle won the match!
I saw him being interviewed earlier!
Surely no -one is going to renew his /her subscription with Euro Player?
They would be out of their minds to do so!
I would happily watch Rafa in pink! if I could only see him play!

Yes, Kyle won.
I am at a loss regarding your EuroPlayer, but Eurosport channels are fine.
Why not try Googling "Europlayer" to see if there are any complaints today?

I saw a very odd interview with Maria Sharapova on YouTube yesterday.
Must have took place a year or so ago.
Anyway, she was doing a presser after a match and one lady reporter started asking her questions about tea bags!
This went on for several minutes, and it was perfectly obvious by the mystification on Maria's face that she did not know what a tea bag was, or why on earth was she being asked questions about them!
Very odd!

Kyle did extremely well to beat Kevin Andersen.
He seems to be blossoming as a reliable and skilful player.
I have now discovered that I can access previous matches "on demand" on EuroPlayer.......
It all seems to depend on how I approach the site.....
I am not allowed as such to "log in", but seem to be able to get there by unorthodox means!
I shall say no more......!
I'll hang in there and see how much tennis I can glean over the coming ten days or so.
It's a weird set up!
I need to go out to buy birthday cards...but it is raining heavily!
I am reluctant to get wet...again!

I wonder whether Maria really did not know who Judy was.......or if it was a subtle "put-down"?
I find it hard to believe that anyone , especially in the tennis world, could not know of Mrs M!

As you know, I don't really follow tennis, but yes, I do find it
difficult to believe that Maria did not know Mrs M!
Unless her mind was still on winning her grand slam (I think it was?)

I believe this new storm is going to be called Felix if it his France
first, or Fionn if it hits England first - apparently, the name is given
by the country which is first hit - I did not know that!

I did not know that.
Just thought it a very odd question to ask Maria!
But, when I saw it yesterday, I had no idea that Judy Murray was involved!
I am slightly surprised she did not know of Judy Murray, though.
Judy is fairly well known, in the UK, at least.
