Bren, Darla,
See WPR 253 set by Mattrom. The winning clue was…
Try a final helping of peanut butter! (4)
I forget who won :-)

With the forum's help I got 7d, which helped with a few more, but I'm still stuck on:
1a
14a
3d (I think I have13a)
4d (can see a possibility if last word is definitely, but nothing in the wordplay to confirm)
5d

Any gentle nudges would be welcome.

FOI: 9
Got 2d next but like many others I can't parse 2 letters

An interesting, challenging, puzzle. 6d a very clever clue!

Oh my goodness that was a slog but a fun challenge. Finally finished with 21a. I swear I was seeing through a lot of the misdirection but E was working at an extra level beyond me! 21d I'm looking at you - I could see the 'butter' device from the start but couldn't get it to fit. Needed forum help for a few and I just googled 7d, no idea.

Prev poster - misdirect on 14a for me was the definition. It's not just the first word! Can't see your other qs on my phone sorry.

I too found this a slog, and have finished but with an uneasy feeling I may not have got all the answers right.

I'm pretty sure the 2 letter insertion in 2d represents an abbreviation for a chemical compound commonly employed as antifreeze ("warming is it"?).

Apologies if someone has said this already.

I think Roof at 60 is right about "is it" meaning "say" (look up the drink that everyone has gone for). Also daybreak is not what people are assuming. I think you have to split the word which gives you "say" in a day of the week rising (though, if I am right, there is no rising indicator so another complication)!

Did anyone notice he has used the answer to one of the clues in his last prize as fodder in this one. Is Enigmatist Australian? There seems to be a fair number of Australian references.
