Requests for help should normally include the clue itself, the number of letters in the answer, and details of any you already have. Any additional information or special instructions, common in Listener puzzles, should also be included.

The theme...
Help with the theme may also be sought here. The help should be fairly gentle in nature - just a nudge, a pointer in the right direction, and certainly not anything that would spoil the puzzle for others. Any posts which, even inadvertently, reveal too much of the theme are likely to be removed.

There are many regulars on the Listener threads, but newcomers are always welcome.
Unsolicited help, for clues or for theme, will be removed.
The Listener is a unique puzzle and should be treated with respect.

Well... this is slow... 10 answers so far

I have the grid, before and (I think) after the move.
Struggling with the inventor...

Got it now - 2nd 3rd and 4th words (container is 5th word) for the 1st word (next word is container) for the rest of the clue.

And my previous obscure container synonym is now redundant - it's an obvious synonym for the 2nd word.

... (anything in brackets) = container indicator.

I’ve done the top half, finding the bottom much harder, but nibbling away

Great soliloquy from drxx, but I am still too dim to solve that clue. I'll sleep on it.

Sorry that what remains of the soliloquy hasn't helped you, rhsl. Solving the clue is key, I think - the theme/name is pretty obscure (maybe work around the obvious Chambers section for the last two words?).
