kindred at #74 - I think I have understood you. until now I have centred the shape at the centre of a cell, since my original interpretation of "grid intersection" was just that - but that leads precisely nowhere apart from lots of jumbles. do I assume that the shapes are centred on one of the places where vertical and horizontal grid lines meet? not sure that I can see much there either but ...(a sunday largely wasted, I fear).
