The Listener is a unique puzzle and should be treated with respect.

I have deleted Malone’s thread and started a fresh one, I am not having the Listener thread degenerating into a slanging match, you are acting like children in the playground.

We do not encourage breach of copyright laws, I know the odd one sneaks in now and again and we made an exception during COVID but it is better that we adhere to the laws of the land in this instance.

I apologise if there were some genuine questions in amongst the melee, if there were then can you please ask again in this new thread.

It's this one, Buddy! As Norah said, if there were questions in the other one, people can ask again here. I don't know if there were resolved queries, unresolved queries, just comments on the puzzle.

Oh, that's very satisfying - a clever device [though it has been used before somewhere] and one of the most unambiguous endgames you could have.

I have a full grid and the hint provided by the misprints, but my compass points don't seem to work, even though they all seem correct. My last line does not meet a previously drawn line. I have two cardinal points and one intercardinal point, in both the across clues and the down clues. Does that sound right?

It isn’t right. You may not be using all of the wordplay in 34A, or missing a wordplay-generated point in the downs.

The line termination is as described in the preamble.

Obviously the endgame relies on precise parsing, accounting for every letter of wordplay. A relook at 31 would be worthwhile…
