It's always the last step, isn't it? Well, the last-but-one; that third "feature" is hiding from me quite well!

swannie - not sure. I tried to relate it to the person’s name. The first part works but…… Do the last letters mean ‘online’ maybe?

@son1ofrover1 - thanks for the Cockney nudge. Subtle but helpful.

Got there in the end. The last one was only down to guessing where it must be, roughly, knowing how many letters and...Bradford's. Must say I've never heard the term before.

Haven't a clue what 29a is all about. The parsing seems obvious but the result doesn't!! No help from the BRB or Google makes me wonder if I've got it wrong.

Google your answer + Yakutsk, and interpret "runner" broadly (ie. as something that is running).

Doh! Thanks folks.

You'd think I was wised up to the 'runner' thing by now. 🙄

Bradford's, huh -- something I don't have, which is arguably unhelpful.

Problem is, for a literal wordsearch, asking either the shape or one letter within it seems more or less the same as asking for the answer. More grid-staring awaits... going round in circles at this point!

Ah, I see, the problem is that I *was* going round in circles, which seemed to me to make sense.
