Finally found the correct entry, and I didn't make a single guess this time - just exhausted every possibility (and there are many, many possibilities).

A beautifully deceptive one from Sabre. It looked pretty straightforward at first, but once the few long ones were in it became a lot harder (not a bad thing, of course). I have 22 clues solved but am completely stuck with 5A and the Monkeys one. Even having a smattering of possible letters (assuming they're right) doesn't help. It would be useful to know what the definitions are!

'Intervals without sex' is the def for 5a.
'monkeys' is the def and part of the wordplay (&lit).

An almost full grid but stumped by 2 across. Is it too early to ask for a nudge?

Definition first two words and then a whole string of bits of wordplay albeit with an unusual “that is”
