The clues...
Requests for help should normally include the clue itself, the number of letters in the answer, and details of any you already have. Any special instructions or additional information should also be included.
Hints only, please, no answers.

The theme...
Requests may be made here for help towards the theme. The 'help' should be on the gentle side - a pointer, nudge in the right direction, rather than anything too blatant. Anything - queries or replies - that is overly revealing, and that could spoil the puzzle for other solvers, is likely to be removed.

The Listener is a unique puzzle and should be treated with respect.

PS This is early as I will be otherwise engaged later.

I think I've solved this puzzle straight through to the endgame, but I feel like I'm still missing something. Usually with these endgames, there's some kind of extra reveal or final "click," but I didn't get that this time out. Can someone enlighten me?

Perhaps the final click isn't as strong as sometimes, but I think once you've done the endgame it's fairly clear that it's job done, myelbow.

Very enjoyable gridfill, I thought. Nice construction. Thanks, Rebel.

There is a clear step required to finish the puzzle.
I like the idea, but there's too much cold solving to make it much fun (and too many obscurities, even without the 'Canadian artist').

Please help me with 37dn. I have 3 of the 4 letters entered and I think I know the letter omitted so why is it so difficult to solve?

37dn Sort of lifts up nose holding boy’s head (5)

Unusual meaning of ‘nose’ (twelfth definition in Chambers).

Canadian artist is the definition. You can brute force attack a name if you work out the wordplay type.
